I have it on good authority that sitting for an appreciable length of time with one’s finger immmersed in any alcoholic beverage of 180 proof or higher — whether stirring it or not — leads to inebriation via transdermal migration of the alcohol into the bloodstream.

Would that work with rubbing alcohol? And how long is an “appreciable length of time”?
