Tata was initially hesitant when her fiancé suggested July 7 as their wedding date. That’s also her birthday, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to celebrate both events on the same day. But she came around. The couple is very religious, she said, and was drawn to the Biblical symbolism of the number seven. “Seven is a complete number,” Kemokai said. “The number of God’s completeness. We knew that was going to be a good day.”

That seems to be the consensus here, too. (Golly. Las Vegas? Number 7? Hmmm...)
Y’oughta go, too. It’s not as much the action-action-action film as some previous PIXAR works like The Incredibles, but the storyline about a rat who believes the words of a great French Chef who claimed, “Anyone can cook” produces a continuous parade of uproariously funny hi-jinks and awkward character interactions that will leave you laughnig, laughing, and laughing some more.
I’m strongly considering seeing it again, while it’s on its theater run; something I almost NEVER do, and I am DEFINITELY buying it when it comes out on DVD.
It’s possible. It’s a disputed question, whether I can leave the baby for the duration of a movie ... depends on the time of day.
Mom will like it. She gets annoyed if she comes to visit and there are no appropriate movies out.
We exchanged a duplicate DVD of something for “Madagascar” last week. That is DUMB!
If you can’t get out tto the steakhouse very often, do this: mix bleu cheese with the ground beef whenever you make hamburgers. You might never eat ground beef plain, again.
The portebello mushroom plate at Ruth’s has three large sauteéd portebellos spread over a bed of their garlic-laced mashed potatoes, served with asparagus spears and broccoli with dilled lemon butter, garnished with a few roasted cherry tomatoes, and smaller mushroom caps. This makes for an ample appetizer as well as doubling as a potato and vegetable plate for two. By the time you’ve finihsed your steak, you’ll be comfortably full, and may even have a nook or cranny leftover for some dessert.
We’ve been just as choosy with CG work as with live-action films, as CG has demonstrated no corner on the market for family friendliness, but PIXAR has been a steady source of good stuff right down the line. Beyond PIXAR fare, we’ve got both of the Ice Age movies, which are quite funny.
I think I'll just make this on the 4th, with steaks from Costco!

True, but I'd never get the photographs of my hometown from 35000 feet up if I only drove. (I fly nearby it often enough, on trips from west to east coast, but one day we flew just south, there were no clouds, and I had my camera with me.)
Bleu cheese and pretzels. Yum.
By itself, yeah, bleu cheese is not on my list of delicacies, in fact I completely dislike it, but crumbled over the top of a hot steak and stuck under the broiler just long enough to brown it — 7th Heaven. I mean, you have not LIVED until you’ve had great beef with the benefit of a touch of bleu cheese.
It also makes for killer hamburgers. Use 5-6 parts ground beef plus 1 part crumbles bleu cheese when you fomr the patties; I guarantee an eye-popping YYYUUUMMMM!!!
Now, all of this reckless food talk is reminging me that I haven’t had lunch, yet. Back after a bit.
...and the gnawing of my stomach on my backbone is, evidently, not aiding my typing abilities, either...

We go Costco most of the time, too; they’re less’n a mile from the house.
I’ll take the steaks and pass on the moldy cheese, thanks.
