ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Five New Yorkers who reportedly spat on and swore at Walt Disney World patrons were arrested after they allegedly punched a sheriff's deputy in the face, officials said.

The suspects, all from Shirley, N.Y., ranged in age from 20 to 14 years old. Disney security told authorities they may have been intoxicated.

Obviously, Yankees and Jets fans. Those people are all animals.
Not like Red Sox and Patriot fans. We are all well behaved and classy!

Surprising, we were there in Feb and had a great time, the day was really fun (for the kids too).

We are able to get two FastPasses each day before they ran out. We waited 3 hours for one ride. We waited 45 minutes to catch a bus at the motel.

The shortest line was Space Mountain and that’s because we opened the park. After that, the lines were a half-hour or more. Most of them were over an hour. We went from one line to another. The kids were beat by 4PM. Big mistake.

Sea World was a lot better.

I hate Disney World. That was the worst experience of my life.

Back in my hard partying days, my friends and I got thrown out of The Adventure Club on Pleasure Island when my friend faked a heart attack in the middle of the bar. As I was getting tossed, I trapped a bouncer in the revolving door with my foot. In the process of releasing him, I spun through the door, back into the bar and locked him out, again with my shoe. That was a very very angry bouncer getting laughed at.

Alcohol was involved.

I had to laugh at this. A crowded amusement park is the last place I'd want to be too.

You have to go off season. We went the first week of May (Post spring break-pre-college kids) and had a blast. We went on Splash mountain 5 times in a row with maybe a two minute wait in between rides. My kid is 5 so I can still pull him from school.

Yeah, but because of the stoopid Patriots week school break, there's one week a year when WDW is Bay State South. Keeps the Red Sox fans from annoying the other customers.

Ok. I’d stand in line 45 minutes to watch that.

We went to Key West in our day. It was much more fun. Especially when my buddy walked into a gay bar wearing a tank top that said “Support women’s lib. Make him sleep in the wet spot” (he bought it for a coworker). You would have thought Santa just dropped his preppy ass down the chimney at that place. He couldn’t pay for a drink. He was too hammered to know what was happening. One of the other guys pretended to be his lover so we could leave. “That hot babe was buying me drinks.” “Uhhh...that wasn’t a woman”

I used to live near Shirley, went to school with a few of them. Rough crowd, most seem to be “City” transplants. They gave us country kids a really hard time.

We couldn’t pull the kids. If they miss too much school, they have to repeat the grade.

LOL! I haven't hit Key West yet, but I will.

We were actually in Disney World for our sorta annual golf trip. Twenty or so old fraternity buddies on a four day bender. I don't remember who chose Disney, but we didn't fit in well down there.

We blend in a lot better at Myrtle Beach.

Of course you have lines.

But DisneyWorld (unless it’s possibly changed in the last 15 years) moves them FAST.

Try spending time at the slightly less-famous and more seedy ride parks and see how many feet per minute you move. I guarantee, having experienced Disney vs. HersheyPark and King’s Dominion and Busch Gardens, it’s a snail’s pace comparatively for the latter.

Golf at Myrtle Beach. If you aren’t dying from a heat stroke, you are dodging lightning strikes.

We were playing at a course there and my buddy whipped one into Caddilac sitting in parking lot. I followed it with a hook into a glass storm door. I took the penalty on that one. Cadillac Boy actually played his ball but I was sweating it because the Caddy was pimped out. I just knew that Huggy Bear was going to come out and cap us all. He later placed one next to a gator . He swore he could whoop a gator because he had been in the Army (he carried a clipboard instead of a gun). We threatened to ban him from the cooler and he took a stroke.

I would like to see Orlando again but not the park.

They have riots at Busch Gardens now. Pass. Dollywood was OK. But if you die and go to Hell, it’s a lot like Gatlinburg.

AHHHH! I think I see why you had a bad time....

After the FIRST time I went as a teen, shortly after they opened in the early 70’s, I could see a visit to WDW as a battle to be planned in advance.

First, get up early, eat a BIG BREAKFAST at Denney’s, IHOP, etc, so you won’t need to eat again for a long time, as the foods in WDW are outrageously priced, and if you are eating, you are not riding.

Get a map of WDW in advance, and place a “priority” on the itinerary of things to do and/or see. If one is too long a wait, then go to the next one on the list. Make sure your list doesn’t get too complicated, like ride 1 on east side of park and ride 2 on west side. Try to stay linear. HINT: If the skyride is working(?) you can by pass a whole lot of real estate and people going from one place to another.

STICK TO IT!

If you plan your “attack” and have Plan “B” and “C” in reserve, then you will have an enjoyable time.

Aimlessly wandering around is not fun for anybody, especially children.

STAY HYDRATED! Even though the drinks are expensive, buy BOTTLED WATER, DRINK IT ALL and dispose of the bottle. DO NOT CARRY IT AROUND WITH YOU.

“We’ve been going to Disney for the last 10 years. There is a noticeable depreciation in the quality. It’s not what it use to be.”

Where have you been staying and what time of year? Certain times of the year attract ‘certain types’ of guests. These spitters were a bunch of punks from NYC. They were invited to leave, via handcuffs.

That’s a good plan if you are by yourself. With a wife and kids, logic flies out the window. I tried to get them to go with their aunt but they insisted that I go. They now realize what a big mistake that was.
