What's Your Favorite Television Show?

Posted on 05/15/2007 8:52:16 AM PDT by HungarianGypsy

I don't watch too much television, but one of my favorite shows is Supernatural on the CW.

So, I was just curious about what other Freepers like to watch.

f you have a crush on Daniel, you’ll probably love John Sheppard on Atlantis! :-)

Does John Sheppard tend to go from scientist to manly mode by taking off his glasses? I just thought he was so cute in the original movie, (once out of high school, I found the nerdy type very appealing), so carried the crush over to the series. Even though my husband looks more like O' Neill. :-) (he jokes that his hairstyles seem to coincide with Richard Dean Anderson's)

I remember a clip on Dr. Demento that was a parody of the Lawrence Welk Show. “A waterfall. Waterfall.” Then the bubble machine went out of control.

And I like the “Saltwater Sunday” fishing shows on ESPN2 Sunday mornings.

NOW you're talking! In Florida we have the Florida Fishing Report on Thursdays and they give all the weather info, what's biting, what isn't and all kinds of saltwater tips. Best show on my TV.

Also like/watch:

Dealiest Catch

South Park

History/Discovey Channels

Never miss a Florida Gator Football or BAsketball game

Oh, no—John is the Jack O’Neill of Atlantis. ;-)
He’s a cutie pie who has his moments of insight that save the day. He’s known on some SG forums as “The Magic Buttocks Guy” because he’s able to activate Ancient technology by sitting in it, like Jack. ;-)

Rodney (who actually got his start as an arrogant scientist who has a huge crush on Sam in SG:1, but got banned to Siberia or something) is the Sam of Atlantis—only much more so...there *is* a scientist who wears glasses but he’s not cute in a Daniel way, still he’s one of my favorites too—Radik Zelenka, a Czech scientist on the show. McKay and Zelenka are really nerdy but sweet in their own ways. :-)

Season 4 is about to begin, you’ve got a treat ahead of you! :-) Enjoy!

I like Atlantis. You’ll have to check it out to know whether or not it’s your cuppa. Since Atlantis is a city of the Ancients, a bit of the same mythology of the original serves as part of the backdrop, tho Atlantis advances it in ways you might not expect or know about if you only follow the original.

I guess there’s going to be a bit of cast shuffles this season, the biggest being Col Samantha Carter replacing Dr Elizabeth Weir. Weir was introduced in SG1 using a different actress than the one who has the role in Atlantis.
