The United States House of Representatives Government Oversight and Reform Committee, on a party-line vote, subpoenaed Sec'y Rice to testify before the panel. The subpoena requires her to discuss the Administration's justifications for invading Iraq.
On the subject of Iraq, the DemoncRATS in the House of Representatives passed legislation that would require an American pullout of Iraq beginning October 1.
Finally, the DJIA is over 13,000--so much for the slowdown.

I just talked to my mom. She listened to VP Dick Cheney’s commencement speech at BYU this afternoon. She said it was a wonderful talk, no politics, just life advice. It was humorous and serious. The crowd was very appreciative of his comments.
He told the crowd that his wife, Lynne, ancestors had come across the plains with the Mormons. 2 of her ancestors settled in Provo and another 2 of her ancestors graduated from BYU. BYU gave Dick Cheney an honorary doctorate, so he said that he will rise in his wife’s esteem.
I know they are going to re-broadcast the speech. It will be on streaming video, so I will try to provide a link.

Hummingbird Moths are really weird... unlike hummingbirds, they are very loud, too. Sound a lot like a carpenter bee close up - but so big they make you duck when you catch them out the corner of your eye.
