It's quotes weekend! What are your favorite quotes? Some of my favorites:
"I see America, not in the setting sun of a black night of despair ahead of us, I see America in the crimson light of a rising sun fresh from the burning, creative hand of God. I see great days ahead, great days possible to men and women of will and vision." --Carl Sandburg
"It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence never to practice either of them." --Mark Twain
"Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love." --Jane Austen
I'm getting along. I'm getting back in the swing after being sick in the early part of the month.
Great News Dolly I know that you have been very troubled with the lack of contact.
Steamer down the Mississippi would be great as well
What an adorable grandbaby...sad news about his family.
Hey Dolly! I've awakened from a very bad cold/flu/sinus infection to interject about your question(s).
So I get responses from many women my age (early to mid 20s) that they "aren't really serious about dating, I'm just working on my career".
Yeah, one of "those".
Just thought I'd get some comments on this, because it's becoming rather commonplace with my generation (what I like to call "Gen X's Little Brother". :) ).
LOL
I think the VP went up in the popularity stakes in the eyes of many conservatives and Republicans with that famous remark.
I loved the way he explained to Neil Cavuto afterwards. "I expressed myself strongly and felt better afterwards"
oh, no problem...;)
Thanks for the ping
How is your back progressing?
Lol yeah I loved that. Maybe he could say the same thing to Pelosi...
Are you having fun yet? ;)
of course...;)
Really? Me too...I think it has something to do with you. ;)
Nope...
it's all you...;)
No...it's definitely you. And I'm always right, remember? ;)
I think we're taking over the thread again...
okay you two.. 20 minute time out at the hot tub!!!!
lol
But wait, only after stout responds to my font question
I like that idea! :)
What you could do is create a folder on the desktop, copy the fonts over to this new folder (if you wanted all the fonts over in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder, you could hit ^A [^ is the abbreviation for the Ctrl key--so it would be Ctrl-A] to select all the files. Edit-Copy. Open the new folder on the desktop and hit Edit-Paste
Check the size of the folder--in WinXP there should be a little blurb on the left hand side titled "Details." Select all the files in the new folder and expand it (should be a little round button). Most emails have a size limit of 10MB; you may need a compression program (e.g. WinZip; WinRar; 7-zip--i personally use 7-zip). Compress the files as a ZIP file and you should be able to send via email.
Other way is if you have access to FTP or a webserver would be to post the ZIP on the webserver and provide a direct link to the ZIP.
