My man is going out for carry out Chinese. I told him I was going to do pix, write my granddaughter & FReep.. he said great..

IT IS SO NICE TO HAVE A MATURE, SECURE FRIEND at times like these..

now.. a computer question for you & if you don't know could you ask your computer geek pals?

I am TRYING to send fonts to my granddaughter. I have about 900 & the poor deprived thing only has about 100.

LOL

well, when I try to "attach" a file via C/Windows/font.. I cannot do it.

How can I do it?

If I cannot do it, how to I get these to her?

What you could do is create a folder on the desktop, copy the fonts over to this new folder (if you wanted all the fonts over in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder, you could hit ^A [^ is the abbreviation for the Ctrl key--so it would be Ctrl-A] to select all the files. Edit-Copy. Open the new folder on the desktop and hit Edit-Paste

Check the size of the folder--in WinXP there should be a little blurb on the left hand side titled "Details." Select all the files in the new folder and expand it (should be a little round button). Most emails have a size limit of 10MB; you may need a compression program (e.g. WinZip; WinRar; 7-zip--i personally use 7-zip). Compress the files as a ZIP file and you should be able to send via email.

Other way is if you have access to FTP or a webserver would be to post the ZIP on the webserver and provide a direct link to the ZIP.
