Anti-freeze works wonders.

Oh yeah! That's the ticket because after all the dogs are evil and deserve to die a painful death. It doesn't matter to you how they were bred or how their owner's treat them. Let's blame the dogs for selective breeding and owner idiocy.

We have a largish population of feral cats. I don't feed them or encourage them to stick around my home. I wouldn't make them suffer the pain anti-freeze causes just because they occasionally destroy some of my plants by their digging or because they kill some of the songbirds I like to feed. Yeah, they're pests because they're feral. It's not their fault though and if nothing else they deserve a quick, painless shot to the head.

By the way, I'm in no way inferring our feral cats would be equal to an animal which had attacked someone. I just don't believe in torture.

But hey, whatever works for you.

***We have a largish population of feral cats.**

Way back in the 1960's we had a pet cat that died. We found that our landlady was mixing d-con with hamburger and setting it out "for rats" she said.

You're the best...LOLOL!

Seriously - would be interesting to know how these dogs were identified, hey? And which qualified person did the identifying. Not that the press would bother with such details, anyway. (Gotta be pitbull to be effective.)

I have never set out anti-freeze. I found lead poisoning works well. namely .223 or .357 mag.

I don't know. Those dogs have a demonic glow in their eyes in that last picture.

The one with the blue collar looks like my Glamorous Glennis.

There wouldn't be all this fuss if those kids were killed by *GASP* a Ford Explorer...

IMHO John Q. Average Dog GUN Owner is incapable of understanding how to handle the pit bull HANDGUN responsibly. This has been proven over and over again.

Yep, that about sums it up.

When you see the treatment these dogs have had as revealed by the PETA apologists at this site, you would expect them to become savage. It seems some Freepers cannot rise above wanting to destroy any dog that might look like a "pitbull" (whatever that might be) or anyone who might look like a muslim.

Great pics that accurately reflect what the so-called "pitbull" is all about if treated with the love and compassion that the responsible dog owner extends to their dog.

LMAO! Those are some of the cutest dog-and-human pictures I've seen in a long time-the two fawn colored pups look like Samantha, the Staffordshire that lives up the road from us. Where do you get that Diana BBQ sauce-I've never seen it before.

A couple of years ago, some idiot of a council person in the city of SA proposed a "dangerous dog" ban for certain breeds within the city limits which fortunately did not get passed. The list not only included the usual suspects, but also Malamutes, Huskies and Great Danes. My Siberian Husky is an excellent watchdog, but she is an exception to the rule for that breed-Huskies get stolen all the time out here because they will go to any human that comes to their fence-we keep ours indoors when we are not home for that reason. I've never met a vicious Malamute or Great Dane, either, but I've met some that will bark and snarl if you go on their property uninvited, like my Husky does.

We had a Chow that everyone who didn't know him was terrified of, because he looked and sounded totally vicious if his home or humans were approached uninvited. We did not let him interact with other people's kids for safety's sake, but he was always gentle with ours and protected them as well as our German Shepherd had in their younger years. That "vicious" Chow died of old age at 17, and was one of the most wonderful dogs I've ever known.
