Man, that is tough!
I have a prayer request if you don't mind.
I had what I thought was a wonderful marriage. I stayed home, homeschooled the kids up until a year ago. The kids and I found out that my husband was and still is having an affair. Since we found out he began drinking heavily and evnetually in June of this year, moved out. He is coming over a few times each week to visit but no move back into the house and no talk of divorce.
Please pray for my family, for God to open my husband's heart and eyes and to remove him from the bondage he is under.

An old song has been popping in my head recently. It starts "Put your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the waters." It is an upbeat thing to do and it helps me, especially if I take the message. Our hearts are with you, and I believe you are in God's hands, and our prayers.

Hear the cries of so many wives like widows mourning their dead mates! O, breathe LIFE into them, Giver! Awaken them from the dead and shine upon them, Lord and Creator! Jesus, one word from Your Mouth will raise up our men and transform our entire culture from death to life! You said if we ask anything according to Your Will and if we abide in You and Your Word abides in us we may ask anything and know it will be granted! It is Your Will that none should perish, but all come to a saving knowledge of the Truth: Your Word is Truth; Jesus is the Truth! Send the Spirit of Truth, we pray! Oh Righteous Father, according to this word we earnestly entreat Thee, in Jesus Christ whom we serve and obey, SHOW THESE ERRING HUSBANDS THE TRUTH. Show them there is room for them at the cross, and in this dying is there hope of life for them, and life eternal in Jesus Christ Who is Raised from the dead and seated at the right hand of God on high. Grant each one we pray for, every single husband dead in his sin and bound by the enemy to lies, a sort of Damascus Road experience, and a testimony of awed praise and glory to Thee, the Only True God and Christ, Amen.
