Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Psalm 127:1>
At this time, when feelings run high, the world seems crazy, and anger seems to be the one thing the peoples of the world have in common, I invite you, my fellow FReepers, to join me in prayers and meditation for guidance, God's help and for our fellow man, for America, our troops, and all our own needs.
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Fathers throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempters snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
William Bradbury
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.
Psalm 46: 1-3
Surround this Mom and her Little Ones with Peace, Wrapping them in Your Comforting, Gracious Love. Shield the Children, and Bless this Dear Mom, as we Look to Thee for Great Things, amen.
You will be in my Prayers, ((((hsmomx3)))). Our Lord Keep you in the Palm of His Hand.
You have Seen me Tossing and Turning through the Night. You have Collected All my Tears and Preserved them in Your Bottle. You have Recorded Every One in Your Book. (Ps.56:8)
Blessed is the Lord, for He has Shown me that His Never-Failing Love Protects me Like the Walls of a Fort. (Ps.31:21)
I am sorry to hear about your troubles...and for sure I will pray for you and your family.

Evening Prayer Ping!
The day is past and gone,
The evening shades appear;
O may we all remember well
The night of death draws near.
We lay our garments by,
Upon our beds to rest;
So death shall soon disrobe us all
Of what is here possessed.
Lord, keep us safe this night,
Secure from all our fears;
May angels guard us while we sleep,
Till morning light appears.
John Leland
"Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, from my mouth has gone forth in righteousness a word that shall not return: `To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.' Only in the LORD, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and be ashamed, all who were incensed against him."
Isaiah 45:22-24
The sword falls,
exposing a thin red line separating life and death,
today and forever,
goodness in a neighbor's eyes and the face of evil in human form.
See it cut,
that first blow,
brother against brother,
opening a red stream pouring out over the earth,
a river of grief and loss,
and sorrow and confusion,
exhilaration,
adulation,
oppression,
the mark of Cain ever with the human race,
as men see themselves
as more worthy,
more deserving,
more needy,
more right,
wallowing in the river
no matter the price
as demons howl.
The whip rips the flesh,
the thorn pierces he scalp,
the hammer rends as nail pierces muscle and nerve.
This blood trickles down like all the other blood,
yet where it touches,
light grows to combat the dark,
light to heal the anger in the neighbor's eyes,
to heal the hurt of the lost and bereaved,
to stand with the homeless,
the oppressed,
the needy.
All you who are touched by this light
offer up your hands,
hands for the light to use.
Pass it on,
this light given to us in blood,
in love,
in redemption.
Pass it on,
hand to hand,
word by word,
to heal the mark of Cain,
the death march of time,
and quell that demon howling,
the song of grief that has been mankind's birthright
since the fall.
Pass it on,
and one day, you will see it come back to you,
in the loving smile and shining eyes
of him who says, "Well done."

An old song has been popping in my head recently. It starts "Put your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the waters." It is an upbeat thing to do and it helps me, especially if I take the message. Our hearts are with you, and I believe you are in God's hands, and our prayers.
Thank you for starting The Prayer Room. I truly believe prayer will always be the best weapon of warfare.
Col 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Col 3:17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Thanks be to God for His love that is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
Rev 12:11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Lord I love to lift my heart and remember where we're headed. I praise you and rejoice in your wisdom and love and power and mercy. Be glorified now and forever.
1Ti 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Agreed...it's sort of the foundation for all other actions!

I pray the Lord will embolden more local leaders around the nation to take a stand against this invasion. I pray that the Lord will prevent any attempt by activist judges and organizations to quash the fledgling efforts of these brave souls. In the triumphant name of Jesus Christ.
Praying that God will heal your precious family.
Our Hearts are Filled with Thanksgiving, O Lord, as we Praise You for Your Boundless, Limitless Grace. You are our King, O God; our Loving Redeemer, our Father of Mercies and Love. We Adore You for Creating our Nation, and Pray that Your Hand will Keep us Safe. Be our Shield Against our Enemies, and Fill our Military with Strength and Power from On High. Revive our Land, Abba-Father, and Turn us Back from our Every Wickedness and Sin. Fill the Hearts of Thy Children with Christ; Overflow us with Thy Spirit of Grace.
Go with us, Loving Lord, as we Face a New Day, and Use us to Draw the Fallen to Christ. Thank You, Merciful Master, for Thy Lambs who Come Here to Pray. Keep us All in Thy Grace, as we Exalt You, King Jesus, amen.
Thank you for including me in the ping. Jesus is coming very soon!
"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." ~Rev. 22:12
The Spirit and the Bride say, "COME!" Let him who is thirsty COME!
The work of God is this: To believe in the One He has sent!
Oh, COME, taste and see that the Lord Is Good! There is room at the cross for you, for everyone who COMES!
Come to the Only Refuge, for very soon the visible separation of those who are in Him and those outside will be revealed to all, at His Coming, amen.
Oh, my heart is moved with your weighty burden. You are not alone, there are countless husbands very like yours. Therefore I pray not only for him, but for all like him, that God will indeed
circumcise their hearts, Lord, and engrave Your Word there! Remove the veil from their eyes that they will be horrified by their own sin and turn from their wicked ways! Hear the cries of so many wives like widows mourning their dead mates! O, breathe LIFE into them, Giver! Awaken them from the dead and shine upon them, Lord and Creator! Jesus, one word from Your Mouth will raise up our men and transform our entire culture from death to life! You said if we ask anything according to Your Will and if we abide in You and Your Word abides in us we may ask anything and know it will be granted! It is Your Will that none should perish, but all come to a saving knowledge of the Truth: Your Word is Truth; Jesus is the Truth! Send the Spirit of Truth, we pray! Oh Righteous Father, according to this word we earnestly entreat Thee, in Jesus Christ whom we serve and obey, SHOW THESE ERRING HUSBANDS THE TRUTH. Show them there is room for them at the cross, and in this dying is there hope of life for them, and life eternal in Jesus Christ Who is Raised from the dead and seated at the right hand of God on high. Grant each one we pray for, every single husband dead in his sin and bound by the enemy to lies, a sort of Damascus Road experience, and a testimony of awed praise and glory to Thee, the Only True God and Christ, Amen.
Amen, Kitty, His heart, His eyes, are especially turned for good to the widows and the orphans. In our weakness He Is Strong. Amen again!

Morning Prayer bump!
Lord,
Let me go through this day
remembering
that this is is the day
you gave me
to spread your light to everyone I touch.
Help me especially
to touch those lives
of those who are near to me,
of those I deal with who might irritate me,
but on whose lives I have strong impact.
When I want to snub, or ignore, or leave,
help me see with your eyes -
a child of God,
a person you came to save,
a person that if I love you,
I should also love.
O Lord,
help me this day to do those things I need to do.
Remind me to offer up those tasks
I would rather escape from.
Most of all,
help me to do what you would have me to do,
in your way,
and in your time.
Amen.
If you love those who love you,
what credit is that to you?
For even sinners love those who love them.
And if you do good to those who do good to you,
what credit is that to you?
For even sinners do the same.
And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive,
what credit is that to you?
Even sinners lend to sinners,
to receive as much again.
But love your enemies,
and do good,
and lend,
expecting nothing in return;
and your reward will be great,
and you will be sons of the Most High;
for he is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish.
Be merciful,
even as your Father is merciful.
Luke 6: 32-36

(NKJV)
"Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us."
- Psalm 68:28
It is our wisdom, as well as our necessity, to beseech God continually to
strengthen that which he has wrought in us. It is because of their neglect
in this, that many Christians may blame themselves for those trials and
afflictions of spirit which arise from unbelief. It is true that Satan
seeks to flood the fair garden of the heart and make it a scene of
desolation, but it is also true that many Christians leave open the
sluice-gates themselves, and let in the dreadful deluge through
carelessness and want of prayer to their strong Helper. We often forget
that the Author of our faith must be the Preserver of it also. The lamp
which was burning in the temple was never allowed to go out, but it had to
be daily replenished with fresh oil; in like manner, our faith can only
live by being sustained with the oil of grace, and we can only obtain this
from God himself. Foolish virgins we shall prove, if we do not secure the
needed sustenance for our lamps. He who built the world upholds it, or it
would fall in one tremendous crash; he who made us Christians must
maintain us by his Spirit, or our ruin will be speedy and final. Let us,
then, evening by evening, go to our Lord for the grace and strength we
need. We have a strong argument to plead, for it is his own work of grace
which we ask him to strengthen-"that which thou hast wrought for us.
" Think you he will fail to protect and sustain that? Only let your faith
take hold of his strength, and all the powers of darkness, led on by the
master fiend of hell, cannot cast a cloud or shadow over your joy and
peace.
Why faint when you may be strong? Why suffer defeat when you may conquer?
Oh! take your wavering faith and drooping graces to him who can revive and
replenish them, and earnestly pray, "Strengthen, O God, that which thou
hast wrought for us.
"
