What the hell is with the national media calling races before a single vote is counted? POLL ARE STILL OPEN!!!
Gives the leftards more to scream about when/if they lose.
A stopped clock is right twice a day.
To listen to the MSM, the left won every race a week ago.
Are the polls open in the states where the races are being called?
Fox just called Maryland for Cardin with 1% precincts reporting and Steele leading with 11 points! Based on what??
Geez.
It's called "AreWeThereYetitis." Americans are people of very, very little patience. They want it now!
The 2002 elections?
The 2000 elections?
Keep in mind, many of these calls are being based on exit polls rather than actual results, and we all know how reliable those are.
I am calling total BS on all the Networks CNN, MSNBC and FOX for calling all the Senate Races against the GOP. they now have Chafee out.
Calling races where an incumbent is running unopposed or the challenger is extremely weak (all polls showing one party up by over 25%) is possible, and probaly true even without returns. I do see it as very bad form though.
Don't bother listening to any calls made unless the precints reported is at least 90%
It's usually not difficult to call some races fairly early.
Every one of these idiot alphabet channels are looking to one up the other one...pathetic.
Really???????
WTF! Bill Kristol is going a "John Madden" on Fox News.. OMG... drawing on the screen... looks like what Ran Rather was doing in 2004...
We now have to watch Arlington County VA to see if Allen can squeeze enough votes out to win.
Old habits die hard. They shouldn't call races while any polls are open in CONUS
yep - I want the Old Media to eat one of these .... either RI or MD. That's BS!
In 2000 I was hoping Bush would take Michigan. I watched the MI Sec of State site as precinct after precinct reported in and Bush was leading big time, but everybody was calling Michigan for Gore. Then finally, in the middle of the night, Wayne county (Detroit) reported in, and all of the sudden Bush was beaten by several tens of thousands of votes.
If a Republican Candidate doesn't have a substantial lead before the big cities report, then they're usually toast. So you can see a real close race, or even the Republican leading, but when the big dump of votes from the city arrives, it's all over.
