No need to reply,dear..I know how busy you are..and now car trouble!!
My son had that graphic saved to the computer he brought down for me..I spent time last week getting the 911 pictures all downloaded into tinypic and it really got to me..again.. I will never understand these monsters...and I know so much now about their hatred.
Thank you for the ping.
I have two pictures for you but I must frame them..Hugs and luv.

Thanks ...looking forward to them. When the thread develops I will be emailing the link to my various friends/family to enjoy. Most are not FReepers ...drat... but do enjoy browsing the info I send regularly
Just got out of a delightful bath. Put in a handful of homegrown, crushed lavender.. you wouldn't believe the fragrance & comfort.. it truly is a relaxing herb. Will bring the pot in when we get cold & try to stretch out the use. May try to learn how to dry or freeze it..

I have links somewhere to lavender farm pictures..We were talking about lavender in the Canteen one late night session..There are probably 'how to' dry and preserve lavender instructions on the internet. Glad you had it to relax in.

I also have a bumper crop of basil that I want to keep. Maybe making some pesto but also drying it..I am guessing can do that by putting on cookie sheet for a few hours at a low setting.. or maybe just a short time. I am very good at burning up food & pans by forgetting something is "going".. FReeping most often the detractor

P,
I want to talk to you a minute.
PLEASE listen to me
Take this oldsters advice on this one!!
DO NOT-----I REPEAT, DO NOT-- Say ANYTHING to this girl, that she could twist into some form of "insult", to which you could face action for.
I am SERIOUS!! She sounds like JUST the type to do this, too!!
Just do your job, and do NOT engage in ANY idle chit-chat with her, and try NOT to be alone with her EVER!!
I do NOT want something to happen to you, like has happened to me. It REALLY hurts, for a LONG time!!

I tried not talking to her (she works in the same department as I do and is a new girl), and she complained to management that I was "refusing to speak to her," and I had to have a long discussion with the bosses about it.
I can't win for losing!

She sounds a lot like Holly from my college 3 years ago.
That girl RUINED my ENTIRE college experience. Just like you, I "thought we were getting along, too".
Then the threatening email, and the security guard's visit the next day.
I must say, that was a very low point in my life. Since then, I have found it VERY difficult to say much to a woman I am not sure of.
As far as I know, however a person CANNOT get someone for a "bad remark" if they don't make any!! SO...just say NOTHING to her, that is not necessary for work!!
LEARN from my heartache, and don't allow yourself to be crushed as I was!!

good morning..
All...want to clarify something
No the Chaplain wasn't a FReeper.
I think it is the confusing way I wrote the info in the thread.
The Fireman who died Mr. Moran was a FReeper, but there were limited pix of him to use. As it turned out there were MANY pix of the beloved fire dept chaplain(who knows he may have been a FReeper). Jonny had wanted to do both the killed FReepers. Maybe if we can get some pix along the line, he will.
I suspect there were many FReepers that were killed that day that we will never know of. Just all of a sudden someone stopped posting. If they did not have a regular thread like this, ATRW, Dose, Finest that they post at, they would not necessarily be missed.

Thanks for the ping Dolly. Jonny, your new artwork is beautifully done. You put so much life into both - they absolutely come alive!
I'm working on a migraine and the meds make me feel weird so I can't work on my computer much right now, but I wanted to post this picture my husband took. He was working on new construction at a hospital in Brooklyn on September 11th. He took this from the roof.
I'll never forget what he said when he was describing it to me over the phone. He said, "First you saw it, then you heard it, then you felt it."
To: pcottraux
...the first emotion I felt when I learned what was happening was intense anger. I mean, I could feel my fists clenching involuntarily.
@@@@@
The most proper emotion, and felt by people all over the country! The only way I could keep from exploding, was to imagine how to deal with the Osama, etc. The best method of execution that kept me focused was to issue a fishing rod to every next of kin of a person killed that day, and have them, by the thousands, cast their (tiny) hooks into Osama's flesh, flaying him alive. Somehow that scenario helped me to tolerate what I was watching on TV.
