John mark Karr in a business class seat paid by tax-payers.

You have the Boulder DA to thank for this. Karr was ejected for being an "undesirable" ... someone who is facing charges in another country.

Had the blow to the head caused her death, there would not have been petechial hemorrhaging of the eyes.Simple as that. The Autopsy Report says " Cause of death of this 6 year old female is asphyxia by strangulation associated with craniocerebral trauma. "

There is also evidence, per the autopsy report , of petechial hemorrhaging around the face and neck as well. This also is indicative of death by strangulation. The blow to the head was a coup des gras and indicates to me at least that this was his first kill and he wanted to make sure she was dead. But, she was already dead.

The most important recent exidence to come to light was that given by the M.E. from Phoenix regarding the paintbrush. Perhaps you'd like to answer the question, " Who raped Jonbenet with the paintbrush, Mommy or Daddy and why do you think they felt this was necessary?"

Check out Breathless Rita!!!

John Mark Karr, center, formerly a suspect in the decade-old JonBenet Ramsey murder, is transported back to the Boulder County Jail after charges against him were dropped by the district attorney Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, in Boulder, Colo. Prosecutors abruptly dropped their case against John Mark Karr in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, saying DNA tests failed to put him at the crime scene despite his repeated insistence he killed the 6-year-old beauty queen. "... Why should it bother you? She was elected (I presume) to her job as county DA and has not engaged in any illegal conduct that should get her kicked out, to the best of my knowledge."

Bothers me that a CLEO sucks so hard. Yay, safe citizens!

Wasn't she the one that delivered this utter abortion to the American public ten years ago when the Ramsey case first broke? Is this her ten year reunion tour?

I'm presuming you work for gov.org in some capacity?

You've sufferend enough, NRA :) It WAS indeed at first reported that Karr was arrested for some sort of child porn charges in Thailand..

Obviously, you didn't follow this as close as some of us..so you wouldn't know that it wasn't true. You certainly aren't alone there..No big deal :)

You're right. I didn't follow it that closely, but I knew I had heard/read that he was wanted for sex crimes in Thailand. It's hard to remember where I hear or read things sometimes. At least I was able to go back to one FReeper that posted it too. Thank you for being nice, and coming to my rescue. ;o) Somebody was kinda grumpy with me. LOL!

Why are you accusing FReepers of wanting him held on nothing and of ignoring the Constitution?

First, I am not accusing FReepers, broadly speaking, of wanting him held on nothing. I was thinking of ladyinred's comment in her Post #532, which was as follows:

"I am not surprised however about his DNA not matching as I didn't think he killed JonBenet in the first place. He needs to be put away regardless."

That point of view had been expressed countless times on these JBR threads since Karr first came to public attention. The only problem with it is, other than the MISDEMEANOR possession of child porn charges in California, zero information has come to light that Karr ever committed any crime.

Have we come to the point in this country when we "put people away" just because they are weird, mentally disturbed, give false confessions to famous murder cases, etc.? If so, then we have just thrown our Constitution out the window.

You may be disappointed in me, txrangerette, but your disappointment is misplaced. Any Constitutional conservative, which I am, would be disappointed in the desire to put someone away without evidence of that person having committed any crime. That's what tyrants do, not Americans in our Constitutional Republic.

As for Karr, he may very well have pedophilic tendencies. He certain seems to, at any rate. However, to the best of my knowledge he has never been accused of acting on them. It may be disgusting, but it is not a crime to fantasize about molesting children. Do not interpret this statement as excusing Karr, for it does not. Rather, I am pointing out that we do not get put in jail in this country because of what people think we might do, only for what we do if it is against the law. If my defense of that key principle in the Bill of Rights disappoints you, I would say that is unfortunate.

Just remember...Now there's a face. I'll bet tips were coming in a mile a minute and still are.

Think about the yearbook. That's the same type of mind that wrote the ransom note. Plenty of sarcasm, exclamation marks and commands.

the issue is not whether it caused her death, its whether it came first. both injuries could have caused her death. I notice you ducked my issues about whether she was strangled while fully conscious - where is the evidence she was fighting, struggling, etc.

as far as your paintbrush question, you know the working theories on that, let's not go into it in public.

"He sold mobile homes."

If this is meant to be descriptive of John Fernie as in John and Barbara Fernie of JonBenet Ramsey fame, that's news to me. We had a little over 100 acres on 75th Street in Boulder during that time and I knew John Fernie as a real estate developer, not a mobile home salesman.

THERE ARE AND NEVER WERE ANY CHARGES IN THAILAND AGAINST JOHN KARR. HIS PASSPORT WAS REVOKED ON THE BASIS OF THE CALIFORNIA CHARGE. HE WAS A FUGITIVE.

Wolfstar, this guy is bad news.

I didn't say he was a paragon of virtue. I didn't defend him, per se, at all, but our Constitution.

He sure didn't try and deflect his guilt, now did he? Quite the opposite.

Perhaps this comes as a new revelation to you and others, but weird, disturbed people always come out of the woodwork to confess to crimes that receive a lot of publicity. I'm not a mental health professional, so I can't cite the name of this syndrome, although I'm sure there must be a name for it.

In any event, we do not put people in jail because they are weird and confess to crimes they didn't commit. Perhaps there ought to be laws that allow such people to be sent to mental hospitals, but lacking such laws, people who give false confessions are free to go about their pathetic lives.

Except Karr didn't come out of the woodwork. We surprised him.

You make excellent points. It is a slippery slope. You put someone away for a criminal tendency, although they haven't committed a crime... what will eventually be considered a crime, being conservative, for example?

"In any event, we do not put people in jail because they are weird and confess to crimes they didn't commit."

Actually, some of these nuts do get put in jail and convicted based on their confessions. Reminds me of a woman who confessed the the murder of a young girl who had actually been killed by a serial killer. She wanted out of an abusive relationship and got enough of the facts right, including where the body had been found, to be convicted.

There has to be a reason why Karr was only allowed "supervised" visits with his boys. We keep thinking "girls" because of the cases he discussed. Don't forget his sympathy for Michael Jackson who should have had his kids taken away a long time ago.

I wonder why that ex-wife is somewhat defending him. Seems odd. I think I saw a quick interview with one of the other wives; she really didn't seem terribly intelligent.
