Schnitt just announced the breaking news. The DNA for JM Karr is NOT a match for Jon Benet evidence.
The Ramseys hired a TEAM of private detectives, 3/4ths for John and 1/4th for Patsy. They were not charged with finding the baby's killer - they were directed to do whatever it took to keep John and Patsy out of jail - to create reasonable doubt in the mind of ONE juror if this went to trial.
The one hair found on the blanket DID belong to Patsy. It was a belly hair, which has different characteristics than head hair.
Yes, the foreign DNA we know now didn't come from John Mark Karr. That's one down, 350 million to go before they get back to Ramsey. Money well spent, I'm sure he thinks.
Did I miss a joke somewheres?
I suspected that Karr made the confession in order to avoid being thrown in a Thai jail. His story was not jibing with the evidence. Now his DNA is not a match. The guy is grasping at straws to stay out of Thailand's justice system. Why else would he cop this plea?
Didn' t DA have access to the e-mails?
Seems where the big problem came in was his unexpected confession that created a media explosion
He is still wanted in CA on child porn charges
It was Melinda's palm print. BPD found a video of her opening the door in a home movie.
>>But I bet you were quick to jump at this guy as the murderer<<
Ahhh.... no. I did, however, think he was more likely to be involved than the parents.
>>Innocent people don't run out and hire lawyers and publicists<<
This is flat out BS. I don't know anything about publicists, but I'd always recommend anyone hire an attorney if there is any suspicion. Also, many people already have attorneys and ask them to speak for them in these sorts of situation. Then, people like you accuse them of hiring an attorney, signally that they are guilty. This is just idiotic.
Karr won't be charged with anything, anywhere
Yes! He was deemed an "undesirable" by Thailand.
How BAD does a sicko have to be to get that designation, lol?
This had to have been some Rove/Cheney plot, it took Bush off the front pages for a few days. The DUmmies are probably throwing this theory around already.
No charges either, he will fade faster than Cindy Sheehan now
Stop the presses!!
The person being paid by the Ramseys found them not complicit.
They never produced them and said they didn't keep them, but just conveniently "remembered" seeing it, they thought.
And the yearbook just said four words in a row that started with those special bits to classmate.
See what I mean?
See the original thread when it was announced that a suspect was arrested in Thailand. It is the one with hundreds of posters asking, "Thailand?".
Ha! Fox News is interviewing that crackpot Dan Pride who was debunked here on FR.
He's going to feel read bad if the US releases him back to Thailand to spend time in their jails. I hear they're really bad. I hope we do!! It will serve him right.
Will those that demanded an apology from those who suspected the Ramseys now apologize?
FWIW, there's still the question of whatever the Boulder insiders claim Karr knew that nobody but the killer was supposed to know. Although without DNA (nor proof he was in Colorado), this case is almost unwinnable for the prosecution unless they have major evidence that nobody is leaking.
Also, how's this for a FACT; the "kidnapper(s)" somehow managed to come up with a ransome demand that exactly matched the amount Mr. Ramsey had recently received in a bonus...the nice round figure of $118,000.
What a frickin' coincidence!
Perhaps Karr can go into some type of venture business with Scott Ritter.
This whole Karr situation has been a fiasco with a lot of taxpayer money spent. Poor little girl deserves justice. The fact that she was garroted is not a common way that parents have killed their children in this country.
