Schnitt just announced the breaking news. The DNA for JM Karr is NOT a match for Jon Benet evidence.
Not in doubt at all. If she had been alive when struck in the head, there would have been massive bleeding under the scalp resulting in a large hematoma. Because she was already dead, there was very little bleeding beneath the scalp. Fracture wasn't even discovered until the Xrays were done and the skin pulled back to reveal the fracture. Also, the petecchial hemmorages in the eyes are a sure sign of death by strangulation, not a blow to the head.
Or go on CNN the day after the funeral to "thank" their adoring public (say, what?) before they ever set foot in a police station!
When their house got robbed, John Ramsey was beating the door down at the cop shop to get the perp's sketch done the next morning!

He WAS NOT in a Thai prison. He was arrested by Thai authorities at the request of the U.S. for this case.
He WAS NOT in trouble in Thailand and confessing to get out of it.

The DA was trying too hard not to be like the former DA who suspected the Ramseys, hence, she was too eager to see this guy as the killer. If she had any instincts, she'd have been dubious.

Not for as long as you might think. The child pornography charges are misdemeanor charges, less serious than a felony, punishable by no more than one year in jail pursuant to California law.
Ramsey's are still suspects, especially little bro.
They will probably take him to Trinidad for that. It is the sex change capital of the world.

The Ramseys hired a private detective to investigate their daughter's death, and Lou Smit, a well-respected, retired Colorado Springs detective brought into the investigation by the Boulder DA's office, has said he believes the Ramseys didn't kill their daughter.
JonBenet was covered in a blanket when her body was found. Foreign hair fibers were found on that blanket and they did not match any of the Ramsey family or approximately 100 people that were tested.
Investigators have long surmised that saliva mixed with JonBenet's blood in her underpants was left by the killer. It has been identified publicly only as coming from a male outside the Ramsey family.
Karr is likely clinically psychotic and I believe that he believes he killed JonBenet. I believe that he has relived killing her in his mind over and over to get to the point that he can recite what happened that night as fact rather than speculation.
If he is not her killer, he needs to be put in prison for his crimes in California at the very least. He is a monster and needs to be kept off the streets.

He was in the Sonoma County Jail for many months, awaiting his hearing. I'll be he gets a "time served" sentence.
there was no external manifestation, because she wasn't hit in the head by something that broke the skin.
the blow to the head didn't have to actually kill her, it needed only to render her unconscious, and convince the perp that she was dead. she may well have died of the strangulation that occurred right after the head injury, but there aren't alot of signs that she was strangled while conscious (didn't put up a fight, duct tape over the lips made a perfect impression, no slippage of the cord around the neck, etc).
No, there are NOT any charges against him in Thailand and there won't be.
