My family's been in that area since the time when we were part of Britain.
Don't live there any more. After 20 years in the Navy, I settled in Norfolk.
If I could find a good job, and afford to move, I'd be back there in a heartbeat.

That is very cool.
My dad's family was up in Orange County (Hillsborough area) since colonial days too... but my grandfather moved to Nash County in the 20's, so this is home to me.
I am very lucky to live in the area I grew up in.
In fact, my wife and I bought my parents' house when they built a new one; we moved in in April.
It's hard to get used to being back!

I'd love to move into my parent's house. Sadly, since Newport moved it's city limits, the property has been rezoned commercial, and can't be sold as a dwelling.
Don't you just hate the government telling you what you can and can't do with YOUR property!!!!
