Since the End of the World thread is going on, I decided to start a special edition End of the World thread for the Freeper Kitchen. Today's your last set of meals, folks. What will you be cookin'?
I'm saving this recipe -- just in case the world doesn't end today -- for the next time we get asparagus from our produce co-op. I wasted asparagus last time because I had no idea what to make with it.

I may need some help with the wine cellar. Any idea just what time the end of the world is supposed to come? I need to get home and get started. Fortunately, since the world is ending, it won't make any difference if I put off all the crap I had planned to do this afternoon.

Well, I wouldn't go to Hell's Kitchen.
A piece of bread and a cup of tea would do me. It is the company that makes the meal for me.
Wine, cheese, fruit and crackers...LOTS of wine, LOL!
But what am I really making for dinner? Bacon wrapped venison steaks, fresh green beans from my pre-nuclear garden and baked Yukon Gold taters with gobs of full-fat sour cream and freshly clipped chives, also from the garden.

Okay, here's my meal: Some g-o-o-d southern pork bbq, hush puppies, french fries, coleslaw, and for dessert a hot fudge sundae.
