The subject for this weekend is cult movies, but Ive decided to take that idea and add a bit of a different twist to it.

Thanks for the ping...but... PC, you want more dates? Have the mods pull this thread and instead, do a low-calorie cooking thread or a WWII Bogart Movies thread. This spider stuff will only draw the flies, er, guys--and the horror buff/Terminix employee ones at that...

Well, this wasn't going to be the ONLY thing on the thread this weekend, but things didn't really work out like we planned.
And please don't be too critical: I really put a lot of hard work and many hours into this.

Hmm...I'm scared to try that, considering that I'd probably get every answer wrong.

This woman is all over the UK papers this week. Big, big story, but very few people have heard of her. I hadn't heard of her either. Something to do with a blog she's been publishing since Jan. 2004 (which recently became a hardcover book).

It's amazing how with a simple computer and their own blog, someone can become famous within the privacy of their own home.

She was already kind of known (before the blog). She's a naughty, naughty girl. I can't give you any more hints! :)

Not meant as critical, just a wry quip. Clearly you put a lot of work into the thread, very well done, in fact. And you actually got me to post onto the thread (twice now including this post)... you sly dog giant spider you!

Well, like I said, this was originally going to be only part of the thread this week, and not the whole thing. It was going to be "my section," while rzeznikj had "his section." But things just didn't work out, so I was left with what I had done.
And, it ended up being about ten times longer than I had planned.

4)B-admin assistant

Hey Phil, Great job on the thread. You told me things about the movie I never knew before. Good opener for cult movie topics.
Can I throw one in there? How about Evil Dead. Anyone ever see that? Sam Raimi rocks (especially with Spiderman).
