i was not insulted by you pointing out grammar mistakes. you are simply rude.

i have read your posts to others and you seem to think you have the obligation to correct everyones grammar, spelling, and thought processes.

if you spent as much effort on actually putting forth your own ideas, i might have some respect. instead, your goal in life seems to be putting others down.

Someone is old enough to lay their life on the line for people that make dumb-a$$ rules and complain about other peoples behavior, even when they are not doing anything wrong, deserve to have a drink, or smoke, whenever it is allowable.

I'm retired Air Force, and even by the time I enlisted (1978), there was a rising perception in the AF that excessive drinking was a bad idea. By the time I retired, nearly all AF members knew drunkenness was a good way to end your career, even if it was confined to your off-duty hours. Among officers, in particular, it was strongly discouraged.

I think his point is that a drinking age of 21 is stupid, especially in the military.

When I came in, you had to be 18 to drink on base. There weren't many of us who were 17, but they winked and let us drink too.

The drinking age on base went up to 21 many years ago.

Really? I am usually the last person to do such a thing...however in your particular case I couldnt comprehend what you were trying to say seeing as you were jumping back and forth on it. Also it doesnt seem that you have been here long enough to make any sort of judgement on how I reply to others..until you have been here a year and have been on many threads that I go to then you can come back and make such a judgement...until then STFU.
