1. Have you been on a date with someone you met on the Internet?
2. Did the date go well? Did a relationship result?
3. Did you meet them on a dating site or elsewhere? Was it totally by accident or chance?
4. Do you have a funny, gross, scary, or otherwise entertaining internet dating story to share? Either one that happened to you, or someone you know.
5. Any funny or interesting “meeting the parents” stories?
6. Has meeting the parents ever caused a breakup?
7. And, finally, have you ever set up a “backup” scenario to get out of a potentially bad date?

BTW... if yall run across that "Last of the Mo" song. I would like a FR mail link to it please. I loved that soundtrack (but especially one song), but it got dropped in the ole pickup truck and got scratched so bad that I had to throw it away. I also put us some stuff on the FR music Canteen threads on occasion. But my musical ranges vary from New Age to New Wave 80s dance stuff. Some Scottish and Irish music makes my list too. But no rap or hard rock .

He was a nice fellow, musta just made a mistake in his youth (don't know a lot of the details, so can't really judge fully). Just knew he was very intellegent and reserved. He could do about anything mech-wise, and had a photographic memory of details. I liked him, but lol, I am married and oppose gay marriages. LOL..
Oh, I almost forgot! Hubby's knee is ok. He's getting physical therapy twice a week now. He's off this weekend playing war games (for drill) till Sunday night. He won't be doing anything physical (he can't). I think he's taking the guys to the shooting range to do day/night firing exercises. Thanks for asking!

Believe me, I know who "they" are.
My intent is not to have this place go away. It's a great meet and greet place.
There are those who choose to hide (lurk) and whine to the powers that be about a thread that means no harm. Just a place where singles and anyone else that would like to drop in, can talk about what is on their mind, over any given weekend.
This will be my last post to the weekend singles thread. I have enjoyed this place, but, it has become evident to me and others, that there are those who just can't deal with FR singles looking to meet others in the same boat.
I've no idea why.
