I think E.T. speaks about home, lonliness, compassion and has a great inspiring message. Far more so than that stupid movie Julia Roberts was in about the lawyer. I adored E.T.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was one of the most depressing movies I have ever seen. I could only see it inspiring people to commit suicide.

*spoiler* Yeah, as a general rule of thumb a movie where the hero gets lobotomized and killed under a pillow doesn't really inspire me, as good as the movie was.*spoiler*

Casablanca has to be one of my all time favorites, but inspirational?

Perhaps the part about her leaving the man she's in love with for the good of the man fighting the Nazis.

I was thinking more on the lines of Rick doing the right thing by giving up Ilsa.

Hey! Where's "An Inconvenient Truth"?

Sorry, but Prince Albert has to wait until he collects an armload of Oscars.

At least A Beautiful Mind (barely) made it. Schizophrenic mathematicians need inspiration too.

Give up Bogart for Paul Heinreid? Insanity, not inspiration.
