There was some fantastic typology in the movie.

Consider Babe as a type of would-be christian wanting to be the shepherd of a flock. Consider Farmer Hogett as a type of God the father.

In the end when Hogett looks down on Babe, with that pleased look, the sun breaking through the sky, what does he say?

"That'll do pig"

Or more appropriately, "Well done though good and faithful servant"
