If I Won a Mega Lottery-My Life Would Go to the Dogs
June 9, 2006 | Gypsy286

Sometimes I tend to daydeam about winning the lottery (I play $2, maybe 2 times a year). If I won, I'd of course help my family, friends and charities. My dream would be to buy multiple acres of wooded property-subdivide it and fence each section. One section would have a small lake (man-made if necessary)for those canines who love water; another a playground; one where dog-friendly dogs could romp together; other setions where dogs could run with their master. Plenty of kennels, a full-time vet, a home for abused and unwanted pets. People could bring their pets to this Canine Park, for long walks in the woods, agility games, or whatever. Would be a dog-friendly place for pet/family picnics. Romeo (my dobe) and would live on the property and enjoy our remaining years together. <>What would you do if you won a mega lottery?

I can't win, I don't play. It is a tax on the stupid.

What would you do if you won a mega lottery?

Heh, heh. Same here. I call it a "stupid tax".

Unfortunately, I did say it in front of a friend I later found buys tickets all the time.

AND NO SMART REMARKS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF MY FRIENDS!!!

Me neither. I don't play so I can't win. I'd stand a better chance of inheriting a million from some unknown uncle. Um, better make that 2 million since the government will get half.

My boss said it's a tax on people bad at math.

I told him that at odds of 146,000,000 to 1 it was an infinitely better chance than getting rich working for him.

Gypsy, Thanks for sharing that. Obviously you have a heart of gold. My wife and I would be happy to join you. We volunteer for a dog rescue group and it brings plenty of satisfaction and pleasure to us. Besides having four of our own we also foster one other with this group. Good Luck on your dreams and I hope that someday it will come to pass.

If I won the Mega Lottery, I would take the money and try to end world hunger, poverty and disease...

Or maybe my life would be one big party and I'd buy all kinds of cool stuff. Yeah, I like this one better.

I know some stupid people under stand math enough not buy lottery tickets. It is a special kind of stupid.

I don't buy play either, but I still have pretty much the same odds of winning. Some one could give me a winning ticket.
