This poll is pure b.s. I myself do not believe the Marines had any hand in the deaths of the civilians in Haditha. The MSM is still trying to lay blame on the wrong people. Sure you are going to be shot if someone is firing a weapon from behind you. Using you as a shield (civilians are not to be used as body armour) is going to get you killed. It was no accident these people were killed, it was deliberate on the part of the terrorists. It was criminal because the terrorists planned it that way. Premeditated murder by the terrorists.

I don't like the poll. Why does it have to be an accident if the deceased were proven to be the enemy and were being protected by Iraqi families who may have been sheltering the enemy fighters .

Stupid poll. There was a criminal act, the question which is open is whether it was one committed by the Muslim terrorists in the mold of the Sarajevo market shelling, or one committed by stressed American troops in the mold of Mi Lai. In either case, murder has been compounded by lying, but in the former the liars are the local physician and a 'historian' hired by the NYTimes, to provide reports from his native Iraq, in the latter, some Marines.

Of course, answering 'criminal act' will be taken as confirmation of public belief of the MSM's official version, that the latter is the case.
