This weekend in America is Memorial Weekend a time when Americans honour their military dead.
hi Maximus, all
Howdy!
Hey!!! Long time no C!
Hi :)
ok, now I think of you when I visit Disneyland...lol. We planned to go to the beach today, but it was ugly out this morning so opted for Disneyland instead. Had to leave about 3 though, because Eric had his last soccer game tonight and then pizza party....whew, long day.
Hey, Theresa. How's it going?
How's the weather been down there? It's been super-duper windy up here the last couple days. Driving my allergies crazy.
weather was gorgeous for several days, high 80s, but today was high 60s this morning and probably only got to mid 70s, still not bad, but thought beach would be in 60s...hoping for nice weekend weather though
hello P, had major computer problems (bought a new laptop to use as main computer) and transfer of data from my bookkeeping accounts has been a nightmare. Have spent about 3 hours a day on telephone with Tech Support for last week and a half. They took file remotely (in India...sigh) and then called back and said would take 25 working days. I could not imagine being unable to work that long, so finally resolved it via phone with them. That was not fun. On top of it, was sick for about 3 weeks, still have a slight cough, but feel so much better.
What seems to be the problem?
Ouch, that's terrible. I've never done a data transfer before...when I get a new computer, I just put all-new stuff on it. At least you're feeling better.
Glad you think of me when you think of The House of Mouse (this is a good thing, right?!!??) :P
Oh my Goodness!! I am so glad you feel better.
was a QuickBooks problem. Was using QBPro2001 on Win2000 and upgraded to WinXP Professional and QuickBOoks Pro 2006. They said there were some data link severances internally in the program and the 2006 version was doing data rebuilds everytime the company file was opened. Although the donations (contributions to the charity) were logged properly and they were deposited, and reconciled, they were showing no links and needing to be redeposited in some cases and double deposited in others, but when you cliked history of transaction, it was not obvious. They gave some lame excuse about power surges or something like that.
The account was off by over $116,000 going back to transactions from 1999. There were 75 transactions that were showing up, linked to over 700 sub links that were broken along the line. It was a total nightmare for a non geek like me.
Hmmm. I see...
Don't have much experience with QuickBooks...
Sounds like it went OK, just a lot of hassle.
However, we also have a Tech Support ping available if you need it...8^)
Yes, good thing. Although, it did not start out good today there, because as I was going through security check, I noticed when they opened my purse that my wallet was not inside. I had it when I gave the parking person my pass, but could not find my wallet. Who wants to loose their wallet at Disneyland!!!
So, off to the tram and parking structure we went. My friend went in the park with her 2 boys and wanted me to just get the one time lookup thing showing that my son and myself have passes. But I wanted to know where my wallet was, so I was not interested in that option. Thankfully, it was on the floor of my car, must have left it in my lap when giving them parking pass and got out and forgot about putting it back in my purse. But it was a short scare.
Alright, kiddies. I've been up since 5 so I am headed to bed!
See you all tomorrow!
Night!
really? Well, I am having a problem using my E drive (CD drive). I have to go to windows explorer and can not just copy to E drive. Is this normal? I am a computer dork!
good night
