was a QuickBooks problem. Was using QBPro2001 on Win2000 and upgraded to WinXP Professional and QuickBOoks Pro 2006. They said there were some data link severances internally in the program and the 2006 version was doing data rebuilds everytime the company file was opened. Although the donations (contributions to the charity) were logged properly and they were deposited, and reconciled, they were showing no links and needing to be redeposited in some cases and double deposited in others, but when you cliked history of transaction, it was not obvious. They gave some lame excuse about power surges or something like that.

The account was off by over $116,000 going back to transactions from 1999. There were 75 transactions that were showing up, linked to over 700 sub links that were broken along the line. It was a total nightmare for a non geek like me.

Hmmm. I see...

Don't have much experience with QuickBooks...

Sounds like it went OK, just a lot of hassle.

However, we also have a Tech Support ping available if you need it...8^)
