We miss my brother so terribly. I asked my niece to send me a pic from my brother's memorial with his pics and his PH, but she is busy with her hubby and my other niece. Maybe later this week I can share it.

It is in the video that Amanda sent to me. There are lots and lots of good pix. She said she would scan them and e-mail them, too.
I am looking forward to scanning some for them of my brother when he was a kid and including it in the video next month.

you will have fun upgrading your profile page. Once school starts you will be covered up.
What happened with your brother Kate? was this cancer? expected or sudden death?
if he designed his tombstone, I am suspecting he was prepared & it was cancer or something similar/devastating.

I will surely let you know. My first "quickie" trip will be south. I want to see FReeper Jemian before she returns to her "Indonesian" location once again. She lives in Alabama.
Will try to work in quick visit with my son/family if possible.

What? We're not doing anything...
Besides, it's your fault anyway. You're the one who encouraged us to meet ;)

Here is an interesting photo I found on Yahoo

Jeff Ward of Texas carries the cremated remains of his brother-in-law Richard 'Matt' Salter, who was killed in the war in Iraq, at a Memorial Day rally in Washington, May 28, 2006

He developed TYpe I diabetes in his late 20s and was deathly afraid of needles. Eventually, the complications caught up with him.
Although we all feared it, it was rather sudden in our minds.
He was a dedicated father and one helluva soldier. He was only 36.
