This weekend in America is Memorial Weekend a time when Americans honour their military dead.

I hope you can continue the family grave visitation/decoration each memorial day.

We have been doing it since I can remember. MANY years ago there were be a party of 30 -40 to visit graves & then big BBQ or pitch in dinner. as the years progressed it was less people & dinner out at restaurant.

yesterday it was me alone.. and I was cleaning & putting flowers on the graves of many relatives who were part of the early caravans.

Life goes on.. and the remaining carry the tradition. Think it will die when I leave or die. All are scattered & care little about these things.

How far are you?

I was 1200 miles away for a year and moved back just over a month before Noah was born. He is such a ham and loves to have his picture taken.

If any of the HTML gurus here are kind enough to tell me how to upload movies from windows movie maker, you can get the laugh of your life from a video I did for Mother's Day. That pic will be in the Father's Day edition.

Oh, and I am about 3 miles from my son and will babysit the baby overnight tomorrow night.

we are about 450.. which isn't far. But my son works two jobs, they both have a business & she just finished a degree in forensic nursing.

I caregiver my invalid mom & just have a tough time getting away. (long story, as is so much in life)

My son's pix is on my profile page.. well, maybe I will post one from his visit here (last time I saw them) July 2004.

I leave on Thursday. There is a computer in the Counselor Room but I don't know how much I'll get to use it. There's a lot of staff members. I wish I could take my laptop with me but it's way too expensive to do that.

Lol yes but I won't be a White House intern, I'll be a Defense Department intern. And maybe a Defense Department employee after that :)

Oh, I understand the "long story" of life.

I really need some time to just work on my home page and then need to go back and work on my two webistes.

It would be nice to have some stuff done before I go back to school at the end of next month. I will be taking a six week class to help work with those labeled as mentally ill here in Maricopa County. (I still say "sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here...")

So far weekend has been good, cept the Sabres just lost their game. They may not make it to the Staley cup playoffs, too many injuries with their defense.

Our church is still meeting at Holiday Inn but that may change soon. We are looking at a building, a former restaurant that has been vacant for 3 years. We are keeping it in Prayer.
