Anyone planning to see United 93 this weekend? I noticed you posted a review thread on it, Phil. I wasn't sure if I could persuade any of my friends to go with me, but one volunteered tonight so I think we'll go tomorrow.

I applaud anyone who's going to see it, but I don't think I'm really ready myself for it. It's probably a lot better than Oliver Stone's 9/11 movie will be.

Well, it's still not fair. I demand new rules.

It is very interesting and can get a bit pressured at times like on Thursday when my forwarder gave me 10 mins to submit invoice to them so they could do the customs entry or my goods were not going anywhere.

I have been at the company and involved in export for 25 years and one thing I have learnt is that you can learn something everyday and of course due to trade agreements etc paperwork and regulations can change overnight.

I am actually going into work tomorrow to finish off the documentation as the documents have to be presented to the bank next week for payment and about 1.2M US dollars is involved in this shipment.

I've been trying to check out the Rush threads (computers been messing up). What happened? I thought all this prescription drug stuff was a done deal.

It is. The charges will be completely dropped in 18 months if he continues seeing his doctor for treatment. The media just likes to blow things out of proportion.

Rush also has to pay $30,000 to the State to "cover the cost of the prosecution." But I dare say the DA spent a lot more than that of the taxpayers' money on this adventure. BTW, how are you, Ozarkgirl?

What occurance brought all this out today? I thought this was an old story. At first they said he was arrested, then they said he wasn't. Need to go back and read some more I guess.

He was arrested and released on a $3000 bail.

Hey! How has your week been? Me, I'm just a little confused, got on here and there's all this hoopla about Rush being arrested, etc which apparently isn't true. Was it just a trial about his past thing? Still trying to catch up.

I heard him on the radio today at noon, he seemed fine :)
