We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Happy Weekend at ATRW. As the Chair & his lovely bride wind down their second(or third or fourth?) honeymoon at the beach, those of us that remain at our humble homes will chat & share our news & our thoughts on love & life.

Movies enjoyed the past couple weeks & recommend to you if the spirit moves: The Sentinel, Inside Man; Thank You For Smoking; Take the Lead; Friends With Money.

In the news:

TomKat (Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes) had their love child, a daughter, this week. Have NOT heard if he actually did eat the placenta, like he said he would ( I do hope he was kidding)

Tony Snow fans await his decision on Monday if he will be the new White House Press secretary

Post your short news items, issues of interest, links, and so on. All who advance the Cause are welcome.

LET'S ROLL!!!

BTW the personality change from when she's all sweetness & light to the reporters, to her "off-stage" remarks, is a bit frightening, to say the least..

No, at least I haven't seen it. Must be some bad stuff on it.

It is frightening. She doesn't appear to be the most stable person. Plus, she seems to carry a huge chip on her shoulder.

Why can't some people understand that if they are not well liked it doesn't necessarily mean it's because of a physical trait...it's because the are down right nasty people.

How about those icky platform hi-helled shoes. They look like gun boats with deep propeller hangers.

Well how about dressed with a little flare or A-line instead of thigh-high unsewn seams. How about skirts with box pleats instead of slits. They looke cheap. I won't buy those things. I pull out the sewing machine and make my own, or let out seams. lol.

You know Peach, Americans, in all walks, are goofy. We go to war and get rid of some of the bad guys, then we gather a bunch of stuff the losing side needs, then go the the losing side and teach them how to use the stuff we put together. I've yet to see a country do that for us. I guess we're just constant optomists. God Bless those CA cops.

Beanie and I have been taking our daily walks, however today we did not. I'm over a mile, Beanie is something like 7 or 8 miles, but then I don't chase squirrels, she does.

Well if you look closely, she does have a big mouth, another foot can easily fit, size 12 I think.

She's copying ole broadbeam, who uses sugar and honey in front of the press (?) and cameras, but in private sailors and fishermen don't use the words she does.

I am home for the day. I went to the Care Center early this morning and stayed until about 4:00. Miss Lily spiked a temp about 11:00 (104.8) and at that time, she moaned a few times and had some rapid eye movements. They gave her a Tylenol supository and I gave her several alcohol baths and the temp dropped. She is now sleeping deeply and isn't in distress.

They will call me when there is a change. In the meantime, I am going to stretch my aching back. I have been sitting in her wheel chair, beside her bed, for 8 to 10 hours a day and my back doesn't like it.

I am praying the Lord takes her Home soon - she deserves to exchange her crippled little body for her Glorified body.

Thank you all for keeping us in your prayers.
