New verse:

I know you complain, but I've never had a squirrel eat ~anything~ he wasn't supposed to. Even when I've put out lettuce, vegetables, etc... they won't eat them. When I've been out of squirrel food and set out horse grain, they won't touch it. Never touched my tomatos. And I don't have many bunnies that come inside the fence, either.
I've been stood up by the plumber!! He didn't call, he didn't come by. I finally left a message on his voice mail in the afternoon, no return call yet. My ever cynical OB said that I missed my Saturday turn, so it could be weeks before my turn comes around again, sigh.
Somethin' dug up one of my marigolds today. Nana thinks it was a chipmunk. Squirrels seem to go for the bird feeders, but haven't been in the plants.
I tried to get a picture of the nest this evening. But they all came out too fuzzy. May try again tomorrow.
Does the ~white thing~ have a name?
It's supposed to spread like a ground cover, part sun to part shade... I'll let you know.
I bet it'll do fine.
That ain't right.
Sooo....are you going to try installing the faucet yourself? :)
Woo Hoo! Started the lawnmower on last year's gas. I'm a happy miser!
No, we don't do plumbing!! Besides, we have to change out the faucets upstairs, and change from an eleven-inch spread (1930's) to a eight-inch spread (modern). We're staying with porcelain, but the pipes to the current faucets are totally shot, and we have a constant drip into the tub. The new porcelain is going to look so good, we will probably have to have the tub refinished!!
I'm about to go see if the lawnmower will start after the rain. It was tarped (is that a word? It should be...), but there's always a chance it got damper 'n it shoulda.
I agree with OT, that ain't right. I've had squirrels dig up plants, bounce on my new blueberry bushes until they broke 'em, and every spring and fall they "teeth" on the oak tree and leave cuttings all over the lawn.
I've set up a perimeter around the living room.
I'm going dark...
I have well behaved squirrels :~D
They're planning something....
Squirrels of the world, unite!
Naw - they're well treated. Everything they need is provided :~D
*sigh*
I ran outta gas already.
Still haven't figured out how to mow that front. It's like a jigsaw puzzle with a buncha pieces gone...there's no *logical* route around it to make sure everything gets cut.
Welfare squirrels
Drink!
Heh... that was pretty much my reaction when it was all done.
Have to do it again next weekend, but this time I know all the boxes are good!
