I just saw on Foxnews that President Bush's poll numbers have taken another dive. Gee I wonder why?
Maybe the average American isn't thrilled about our President hosting the Red Chinese..complete with marching bands..and a 21 gun salute.
Maybe the average American isn't thrilled that 12000 illegal aliens enter the US every day. Screw guest workers, screw the economy..if the terrorist sneak some sort of bomb in here..its all gonna be blown to hell anyways.
Maybe the average American isn't thrilled that Iran was named CHAIRMAN of the disarm committee of the UN..and we don't hear A PEEP from our President.
What happens next of course..is that Iran will call for Israel to "unarm" themselves of their weapons. Why are we hosting the red chinese anyways? A country where human rights DO NOT EXIST.
China..a country that threatened the United States.
Remember this??
If the Americans draw their missiles and position-guided ammunition on to the target zone on China's territory, I think we will have to respond with nuclear weapons, said General Zhu Chenghu.

...Yet, his performance in office has left me very disappointed. And I don't see things improving. In fact, with each passing day and the more he says and does, the more I find his performance to be poor. This grand welcome with fanfare and all of the Chinese tyrant is just another in a long series of problems I have with this President. If Clinton had welcomed the Chinese dictator into the White House with the same pomp and pageantry, Free Republic would have gone apopleptic for a day or two. President Bush does it and there's hardly a thread about it and those threads are mainly about the courageous woman who yelled at Hu about his brutal, murderous control of China.
Great post.
You took the words right out of my mouth.

Ther's also the price of gasoline, runaway spending, and an immigration plan that could best be described as, "Hey everybody, come on in!"
I didn't know that economic illiteracy is now a requirement to be a "good" conservative.

He could push to build more refineries and eliminate the ethanol additive requirement. He has done the first I think. The other won't happen, he values the political support of those receiving the government largess more than he values your idea. Farm subsidies are dear to the Republican heart.
I'd also like to see 'divorcement', where gas stations are allowed to buy from any supplier they want, and not just the parent company, which would introduce some competition in the wholesale market.
He has no power to do that. Nor should government be involved in the structure of businesses.

Well, isn't it?
I mean, really... El Presidente made the moose bite my sister while she was speaking español around a mouthful of cheese, therefore - It's Bush's Fault!

I've stood by the pubbies all my life, but I gotta say that not a whole lot has changed since they have been in COMPLETE control.
Spending is way up, nothing done on the tax code, illegals pouring across the border, pandering to special interest groups, yada, yada, yada. I'm tired of it.
