Agreed.

I did laugh when Minge pulled out the gun though and the situation went atypical hollywood hostage taker stereotypes. I'd have to say that this was probably the least animated episode of South Park ever. Shows the strength of Matt and Trey as voice actors, imo.

With Towlie spouting the Mr. Hankey voice, I kept expecting to hear a "Howdy-ho!" from him (or is that "Hidey-ho!" ?)

Thanks for the info and link in #28 and #29. Towelie sounds suspiciously like Mr. Hankey. Have the two ever been seen together? ;-)

Geraldo in the middle of the action yet again!

This is exactly where Whorealdo belongs... on South Park/Comedy Central... not on the Fox News Channel!

Well, if there's one thing that's true about South Park, every episode has it's share of fans and critics.

Me, I take a long range view of South Park and rarely pan an episode though I'm quick to praise the really good ones. I respect their imagination, and don't expect all comedy to reach the same crescendo. It's an art, not a science.

Quite true. It hits and misses, but it hits a whole heck of a lot more often than it misses. Of course tonight's episdoe seemed kind of like they were just "mailing it in" to me. Though I have no doubt they had fun making it.

Maybe they intentionally made a tire-biter in this case to get back at CC for censoring Mighty-Mo?

That's EXACTLY what I thought after watching it too. This episode was so off from their usual quality of episodes that I really do think it was intentionally made to suck, simply to get back at CC.

Oh well, they had quite a good run, they were due for a crappy episode. I hope they come through big-time next week.

I thought this episode was GREAT!!! I'm still laughing over the Cockney talk between Minge and Gary.

I wouldn't assume they have any grudge at all against CC. Probably every episode they send up has ~something~ censored in it. They made their point, they move on. I think everyone here probably took it more seriously than they did.
