I respect their imagination, and don't expect all comedy to reach the same crescendo. It's an art, not a science.Quite true. It hits and misses, but it hits a whole heck of a lot more often than it misses. Of course tonight's episdoe seemed kind of like they were just "mailing it in" to me. Though I have no doubt they had fun making it.
