According to what Holloway's friends have told authorities, the blond-haired, blue-eyed van Cromvoirt was seen with their classmate after she left van der Sloot - the pals say they saw them in the Holiday Inn casino together. But when the casino's video surveillance tapes were turned over to police, investigators could find no sign of Holloway and van Cromvoirt, the source noted.
Van Cromvoirt's father is the security expert in charge of video surveillance at the hotel.
Aruban authorities are also scrutinizing a surveillance tape taken earlier on May 30 that shows Holloway arguing with a light-haired young man in a jewelry store in the Wyndham Hotel, according to the source.
They're trying to determine if the man is van Cromvoirt.
A source said police records indicate that "Natalee told her mom and others she was in love with a blond-haired, blue-eyed Dutch kid."
Holloway's mother assumed the youth was van der Sloot, though he has darker hair.

I personally don't think Natalee was murdered. I think at most her death is manslaughter. She died either from drugs, rough activity, a combination of drugs and asthma, etc... That's why all the lies seem so unbelievable. All along I've thought that something larger than Natalee (at least to them) was the underlying issue. And fear. Something that made it worth it for JVDS to stay in jail. I've been thinking drug smuggling, trafficking in the sex trade, something that involves a dangerous underworld mob who could be much more dangerous than the local police. LE may be in on the take and are covering their own rear ends. And lives. It would explain why LE has done everything possible to divert this investigation and why Beth Twitty poses a danger for them. Good for her.

I agree. Aruba isn't that large a place, and an island to boot. Those kids grew up with each other, and know each other to some degree. I know alot of people I don't see or talk to every day, and so does most of the earth's population. There is a whole lots of lying and twisting of facts going on here since the beginning.
If this kids dad is in charge of security and camera and tapes, then a year later will be a problem. He could have done anything to the original tape, including alter it to eliminate photos of his son.

I'm not going to hijack this thread into a back and forth - I commented on your comment and am sorry if the truth hurt a bit - or if I truly misunderstood why you would bring race into it then I apologize as well.

We don't know why the media runs with one story while it drops others, maybe it's to distract the sheeple from the real news; for instance why aren't the media covering the fact that on April 7 a trial date was set for defendant Clinton in the historic business fraud civil lawsuit of Peter Paul. Both Bill and Hillary should be deposed in the summer, perhaps as soon as in 60 days.

Yep, there have been many clues that have been ignored, including an attempted break-in into Natalee's room.
