Breaking News: Nahuelito Photographed
Cryptozoologist Scott Corrales of Inexplicata is sharing that the latest photographs of a famed Lake Monster of Argentina has surfaced on April 15, 2006.
Giving as a source El Cordillerano Edicion of Argentina for Monday, April 17, 2006, the article translated is "The Latest Photo of Lake Nahuel Huapi Monster." Heres Corrales text, from Spanish to English:
Photos were left behind by anonymous reader at the newsroom.
The man came to our newsroom, spoke to the receptionist and left her an envelope with three photos and a note that read: "This is not a tree trunk with a capricious shape. This is not a wave. Nahuelito showed his face. Lake Nahuel Huapi, Saturday, April 15, 9 a.m. Im not giving my personal information to avoid future headaches." We are presenting the images. Let each one reach his/her own conclusions.
This translation is copyrighted 2006 Scott Corrales, with special thanks to Ricardo Lopez Rende.
The creature of Nahuel Huapi Lake in Argentina and Patagonia is called Nahuelito. This cryptid is sometimes referred to as the Patagonian plesiosaur, the story of which first attracted press coverage in the 1920s, though sightings date back well into the previous century. Please see here, pages 119-121 and 294-295, for more on the sightings of Nahuelito.
See below, the two photographs.

The presence of ripple waves and a surge wave in the pix proves the model being pushed as the 'monster' is small and the position of the 'jaw' is fixed in both pix so the model is likely a static construct --not even a puppet! Poor hoax quality.
I'll give this thread thirty posts until someone posts a pic of Helen Thomas photoshopped in these pics, swimming with the snake.
Bwahahahahahahah
I'll spare you the pain of looking at Wooden-man, aka Algore, aka Turd with a Face.
I have to agree. The water at the bottom edge of the photo is out of focus. That is a sign that the object in the picture is likey much closer the camera than one would guess at first glance. Depending on the camera and lens I'll take a WAG at the "monster: being 3 to 10 feet from the object.
Pretty generous tonight? It's usually two or three!
I agree with you both. Not only is this a hoax, it's not a very good one. The object clearly is very small and close to the camera.
See the critter's big eyeball in the first pic? That's pretty unconvincing.
You got a woody for this thread? Damn. Get some ice.
Thanks for the ping. :')
