The presence of ripple waves and a surge wave in the pix proves the model being pushed as the 'monster' is small and the position of the 'jaw' is fixed in both pix so the model is likely a static construct --not even a puppet! Poor hoax quality.

I agree with you both. Not only is this a hoax, it's not a very good one. The object clearly is very small and close to the camera.
