Only about 10 percent of sexual assaults are reported, according to KMGH-TV in Denver...Well, I guess a TV station would know.

That this is considered a crime, today, shows how disoriented American society has become. Marriage used to be understood as permanent consent to the needs of your spouse--at least to the extent that one was able to satisfy them.
The humoring of the Feminist lunacy goes on and on. Where it stops nobody knows. That it has destroyed much that was once sacred--including a sense of privacy in one's most intimate moments, in addition to family values that go back to the dawn of recorded history--is beyond argument.
For an answer to Feminism:
The Feminist Absurdity.

Only about 10 percent of sexual assaults are reported, according to KMGH-TV in Denver...And 90% of all reported rapes are B.S.. And that's a fact.

Reminds me of Rush Limbaugh's joke:
Q. How can you tell if your wife is dead?
A. The sex is the same but the dishes pile up in the sink!
I know, I KNOW! It's sexist!

Uhhhh........
Well, I'm not sure whether male or female FReepers are going to tear into you first, for that little tidbit of idiocy.
Seriously, that's sick.

Seriously, that's sick. What is sick is a society that has become so bamboozled by Feminist cant, that it has forgotten the whole purpose of marriage, which is to sanctify human mating. It is not rape or sexual abuse to have sex with your mate. The whole concept of the "I do's." is to consent to being mated for life.
For a thousand years, under the British and then American legal systems, there was no such thing ever recognized in the law as spousal rape. You would have been laughed out of Court, even suggesting the idea. But, of course, NOW has a deeper understanding than 30 generations of legal and ecclesiastical scholars! Or do you really believe that they do?
This lunacy started with an Oregon, I believe, statute, adopted around 1970. It is hardly something that should simply be accepted. Again, to understand the Feminist Lunacy: The Feminist Absurdity.

Yeah, but when she's sleeping?
I have serious moral qualms about that. And that's an understatement.

It's not having sex with your wife that I have a problem with. It's having sex with her when she's sleeping, or unconscious.

I agree with you. It is sick to rationalize what this nut did. He did this even after he was told not to do it by her. He also took pictures of her without her consent. If he was not happy with their sexual relationship, he knew where the door was. But instead he forced himself on her and he got himself arrested. Being against rape or any variation thereof is not "feminism."
