Crazy Cat Terrorizes Connecticut Town
FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Residents of the neighborhood of Sunset Circle say they have been terrorized by a crazy cat named Lewis. Lewis for his part has been uniquely cited, personally issued a restraining order by the town's animal control officer.
"He looks like Felix the Cat and has six toes on each foot, each with a long claw," Janet Kettman, a neighbor said Monday. "They are formidable weapons."
The neighbors said those weapons, along with catlike stealth, have allowed Lewis to attack at least a half dozen people and ambush the Avon lady as she was getting out of her car.
Some of those who were bitten and scratched ended up seeking treatment at area hospitals.
Animal Control Officer Rachel Solveira placed a restraining order on him. It was the first time such an action was taken against a cat in Fairfield.
In effect, Lewis is under house arrest, forbidden to leave his home.
Solveira also arrested the cat's owner, Ruth Cisero, charging her with failing to comply with the restraining order and reckless endangerment.

Thanks! I tried to do it, but don't know how to get it from my computer-My Pictures to the net. I right clicked, but couldn't capture it for insertion. I am dumb, I guess.

I marvel at what is put up with these days.
Back in the 50's my mom had called the police about a dog that would generally cause havoc around the neighborhood.
First words out of the dispatcher's mouth were, "Madam, does your husband have a gun?" Times sure have changed.

People who keep animals inside better have a good reason........ because it is not natural.When I lived in the country I let them outside too.....but even on the remote road I lived on, they would get killed by one of the few cars.... cats have claws, hunting instincts for a reason...and it's not to sit on a window ledge. But....where I live now? South FLorida.....? NO way am I letting mine outside except on their leash when I am right there so they can eat some grass, lay under a bush for a little while......and oh...they always have to pee outside. Must be a proud moment or right or something :) There are too many people who hate them, a neighbor who poisons them, chemicals, cars...on and on. Not safe at all..
~~~
Btw............. cantaloupe and steamed carrots in their food are a secret ingredient to their long age.
Thanks for the tip. I'll try that.
My cat always eats the head first. Including the beak. Our cat used to kill rabbits & eat everything but the intestine. For some reason, she didn't like that, but thoughtfully left it for us. It gave me the heaves to clean up after her.
the steamed cattots (carrots) are fabulous in the moist food that you may feed them. Cantaloupe is a taste that most of them must acquire.
But anyhow ............ really....... the easiest way to have your animals live for a good long time is just love and respect................. LOVE!!
Yes, they have.
Those who grew up on farms (as I did) know just how crazy things have gotten in cities in this regard.
If I were to shoot a muskrat or opossum or even a stray cat or dog, you could bet the "conservative animal rightists" here on Free Republic would take me to task.
"Conservatives" aren't very conservative anymore...
To: felinesforever
You are so mean! How would you like that treatment.
Before you get so upset that you hurt yourself, it was a statement said in jest.
However a nuance animal shouldn't be allowed to roam freely injuring others. Who knows it might have rabies and pass the disease to innocent bystanders.
A real humanitarian would catch the offending animal and secure it until it is determined further and proper action is needed. Still. What a town full of P*ssies
