Anyone watching Dancing with the Stars?
ping.
Nicely done.
cheer up. The rapture could be anytime!
That is the only time we will really be home.
Man, do I ever know how you feel! If you find the way back let me know!
Save us some space!
You can't choose to go home.
That would be suicide and that is against God's commandments
How about asking to be lifted up in Prayer instead?
Sounds like you could use some to get out of the valley.
If you Love Jesus go to him in Prayer and ask for some strength.
Open your Bible and read the Psalms.
Sorry, but you screwed up in the alternate universe, so you were sent to Penal Colony Earth to serve your sentence. When your sentence is over, you will go back to where you were, and you will retain the wisdom of the lessons you have learned in this life.
Ugly as it is, this world needs some decent people in it right now. Who knows who our kind words or actions might affect for the better. I get disgusted too.....but I'm not here for me, I'm here for them. If I can reach out and show someone a little bit of what love and kindness is, I feel I've done my tiny little part....and it's worth it! :)
I have seen enough of this alien universe, where enemies of the people, who kill and injure its citizens are NOT called "killers" terrorists " or Barbarians", but are called "freedom fighters" or "resistance". Where Criminals are given a pass, and the courts find someone or something else to blame for their crimes, such as what happened to their great-great-great grandfathers.
I could not have said this part better myself.
If you're in Butler county I fully understand your post.
Good Luck.
Once a seed falls from the branch it is impossible to return to the tree.
You cannot go home.
We chose to turn off our tv for 40 days and spend more time with the Lord.
Just a suggestion.
There are over 40 million married couples in the USA, and 2 million more are added every year. About 1 million divorces a year from that pool.
I don't think marriage is becoming extinct. There are certainly some people who want to change the definition of marriage. I'm against that on all fronts, so I'm with you there. While some people look to advance same sex marriage and polygamy, others look to change the financial aspect of marriage. I'm against all of that - I'm happy the way it is: imperfect but good enough.
I don't think its as bad as you think, in regards to marriage, anyway.
BTTT
Remember Jesus said we are in the world, but not of the world. While the world gets deeper in sin and darkness, the Lord will give us His ways and light to follow.
It does get weary for many of us who want to live pleasing to the Lord. But God will give us strength to hold on to Him.
It helps to think how the early disciples and apostles went through much persecution (and for some even death) just for their faith in Jesus. If we share in His sufferings, we will also share in His glory.
It also helps me to keep in mind that God, in His time, will put down all evil. He still is in complete control-- and though we don't always understand why evil is allowed to triumph for a season, He is a righteous God, and His righteousness will prevail.
Actually, 2000 census figures show that there are 60,000,000 married couples in the USA, not 40,000,000. Elsewhere I have seen that there are 2 million new marriages a year, and 1 million divorces a year (from the entire pool of married couples).
Stop making sense. Your brain will hurt less.
I'll drink to that! Makes me wish I could build a machine to escape this parallel universe. B-P
