Find a partner or grab your favorite beverage & listen to some Irish tunes .A couple of wave files - full-length, lilting, Irish melodies - they are so beautiful! I hope you can open them, or "save target as" to your hard drive and listen to them later.

Why Saint Patrick's Day?
Saint Patrick's Day has come to be associated with everything Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks and luck. Most importantly, to those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patrick's Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide.
So, why is it celebrated on March 17th? One theory is that that is the day that St. Patrick died. Since the holiday began in Ireland, it is believed that as the Irish spread out around the world, they took with them their history and celebrations. The biggest observance of all is, of course, in Ireland. With the exception of restaurants and pubs, almost all businesses close on March 17th. Being a religious holiday as well, many Irish attend mass, where March 17th is the traditional day for offering prayers for missionaries worldwide before the serious celebrating begins.
In American cities with a large Irish population, St. Patrick's Day is a very big deal. Big cities and small towns alike celebrate with parades, "wearing of the green," music and songs, Irish food and drink, and activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games. Some communities even go so far as to dye rivers or streams green!

This doesn't spoil it, but his companion has just seen the interior for the first time...that is always amusing to watch.

Hoodlum just gave me an update from Philly (NCAA):
Best Band - UConn
Worst Band - Arizona (they actually tried to play "Sunday Bloody Sunday")
Best Fans - Albany
Best Chant - Albany
UAB had a great mascot, a dragon! And Villanova had the worst cheerleaders.
She says 'hi' to everyone, by the way!

LOL.
Yeah, I thought that was a pretty cool idea for a cartoon character.
An alien that looked like a cute, little pet.
My sister went to Disney World years ago, back when she was in high school.
She seemed to enjoy it.

I've never been to any of the Disney parks. I think I might like to, though.

I think Tegan Jovanka was my all-time favorite companion. Not sure why, but probably because she was a real bitch and didn't take sh*t from anyone.

Hey! am I lucky or what? Commercial break, woohoo! LOL!
It was OK.. Played tennis, got tanned, spent some time with my friends... pretty good. You?
To: Maximus_Ridiculousness
Lock up your daughters. I'm finally blowing town and going back to New York next month. Better female situation than the land of rainy weather and hairy women.
