Support our Troops - with a greeting.
God Bless Our Troops

Posted on 03/08/2006 9:50:03 AM PST by angryirish

I'm hoping to send my cousin some warm wishes from home. He's defending our freedoms with the 172nd Stryker Brigade currenty in Mosul. Apparently, they don't have as much time to surf the net over there (go figure), so I'd like to print out this thread, and send it over in the next care package. So, anybody want to say anything to troops?????

Soldiers are my heroes. "Boots on the ground" is what works.

Thanks for all that you do and for all the sacrifices you make for us at home. You are in my heart and in my prayers.

Stay safe and may the Lord be with you.

Yeah - I was a wing wiper, a wrench twister, a jet engine mechanic. But despite the name calling we might do amongst ourselves, I've got the greatest respect for you guys out there on the line.

In about thirty minutes, I'll be tucking my daughter into bed. We'll say her prayers, kiss her and the dog good night, and I'll thank God that I live in a country defended by men and women such as yourselves.

God bless you all just doesn't seem to cover it, you know? Thank you for all you've done, and all you're doing.

Hi, my name is Brandi. I was wondering if you already sent the printed e-mails to the soldiers. A friend of mine and I were planning on sending several written letters as well as a care package to a troop, but we hadn't found the address of one yet. I think it would be great to send our gifts to the same troop that your cousin is with. I would appreciate it if you could get back to me as soon as possible. Please e-mail me at brandi2626@aol.com Thanks!
