I will. The tests could be done tomorrow, but more likely next Tuesday. At least an ultrasound won't hurt him!
Don't worry about it, Mom. If it was very serious, they would want you to bring him in NOW! So rest easy. And remember you are NOT alone!
*hugs*
Went to Masi Mara for two days oh so much fun! So many pictures I can not up load. :( I am going to be heading out to the Ngrongro crater the day after tomorrow.
It is getting ready to rain so I will talk to you later. Maybe tomorrow if I am lucky
As regards to the baby's elevated bilirubin level, my wife says to put the baby in the window in nothing but his diaper. Try using the sun to bring down those bili levels. Also, you may want to try giving him a little formula. The breast milk adds to the jaundice, she says.
The above all comes from my wife. She's taken you under her prayer-wing and feels entitled to offer you motherly advice.
All I know is I'm kind of proud of myself for having a top 5 "In before the Zot" posts on a ZOT-worthy thread that has lasted for more than a week.
I'm SOOOO jealous! I want to go to the Crater!
I'm looking forward to seeing the photos when you get back! (I'm so envious, I hate myself!! LOL!)
Take care of you!
This one is guaranteed to last a month! We always find an Unworthy and once it is ZOTted, we appropriate its thread and pave it quite deeply. You're welcome to join us!
We're currently on our way to Mars, and there is plenty of room for newcomers.
Here's Vlad's picture - I realized we'd left them behind in February :-).
Thank your wife for the advice and the prayers, and I will certainly work on giving Vlad more exposure to the sun. We're going to the park this afternoon while the girls are at their Girl Scouts meeting. I think his eyes look less yellow today than they did earlier in the week, but that might be my imagination. I hesitate to give him formula, because I could get mastitis if he's not nursing steadily, and that was a major bummer the last time!
I like the suggestion about the camp fees and the barbecue! Maybe when we have the godparents (also in the Knights) over after the baptism. I also just discovered that my second daughter is too big for the first daughter's First Communion dress, so I'll give the older dress to the parish and get a new one (or at least "new to us") in a larger size.
Thank you. I'm printing it out so she can put him on the Fridge. God bless him. He's in our prayers.
There are more on the February Undead Thread, starting here:

And down to 5876 on that thread.
My fish isn't naughty - he's a good fish.
well done, and welcome to the roaming nuthatch we call "the Undead Thread"
If you were to milk Teddy's man-boobs, would they yield beer or irish whiskey?
After numerous rounds of "We don't know if Osama is still alive", Osama himself decided to send Ted Kennedy a letter in his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game.
Kennedy opened the letter and it appeared to contain a single line of coded message:
370HSSV-0773H
Kennedy was baffled, so he e-mailed it to John Kerry. Kerry and his aides had no clue either, so they sent it to the FBI.
No one could solve it at the FBI so it went to the CIA, then to the NSA.
With no clue as to its meaning, the FBI finally asked Britain's MI-6 for help. Within a minute MI-6 cabled back with this reply:
"Tell the FBI that Kennedy's holding the message upside down.
Thanks for that. I see now, it takes extra effort to bump these threads into the thousands. Dare to dream that this one reaches the rarified air of (gasp!) of 10,000+ posts.
I'll continue to do my part by posting meaningless posts, mostly about how many posts I've added.
if the damn thing starts humming and jroooming, I'm either gonna Bobbit or become a gigolo
370HSSV-0773H
hehhehheh!!!
I'll have to use that!
