Very interesting. Vlad just had yellow eyes; his skin looked fine. The sunlight seems to be helping, and it cheers me up, too, so I'll leave the blinds up during the day even though he's improving.

Here's one I remember reading. One of the reasons I chose him as an example.

Yeah, that public eddycation system's been loosing nuts and bolts, and burning oil for a long while, now. Good imagery!

William's isn't on a level with Thomas Sowell, but who is?
I won't be around tomorrow - FReepless Fridays for my penance, so you all have a nice day and I'll catch you on the weekend!

I'd try that with Pat, but he wouldn't hold still on the windowsill long enough for anyone to notice him.

But Williams explains economics in an unassailably reasonable fashion, whereas Sowell deals primarily with social matters.
They are both very valuable resources.

Here's a contender.

Mister? Eh, not last time I checked. ;-)
Sorry, but we must get these cultural stereotypes out of the way. A formality, you know.
So, where's your boomerang? ;)

Have a good trip home.Well, it's tough to have a good trip home in California when it's raining; even a little bit.
There is a strange phenomenon that occurs in Californians when water falls from the sky: they forget every last vestige of everything they ever knew about driving, and are stricken with a bone-chilling fear of impending doom.
All of this conspires to turn a simple, 50-mile drive into a 90+ minute Labor of Hercules.

Hi, Tulip.
Still haunting the halls at this hour? I've only just poked my head in after getting the tribe bedded down for the night.

Good to know your little guy hasn't got a bad case of it and he's improving. I remember my youngest (now 3) had it pretty bad. We had taken him home and ended up going BACK to the hospital less than a week later for treatment. They stuck his little heels so many times to take blood samples he'd cry at the sight of a nurse.

I know, I found it, but thanks - I needed to put a link on my biopage, as I'm getting swamped with replies these days on my ping page.
on that note, an irrelevancy before bed:
why do so many of those who are skilled cooks feel demonically compelled to expend great labors and time to take good food and turn it ito some concoction redolent of corpse's feet?
