A midweek thread celebrating our entry into the Top 300 Folding teams in the world!

First, a big shout out to the SETI and BOINC members who have added CPUs to the effort. Remember, its Team 36120, NOT Team 0.

Next, congrats to all for bumping our team up to 667 processors and 239 user names. We have a number of new users in the team, with over 50 computers now from GetLoaded.com, a trucking website, all contributing while their owners ply our freeways keeping the nation moving.

After over a year of folding, Team 36120, composed of FReepers honoring Ronald Reagan is poised to enter the Top 300 of 44,000 teams worldwide! This is an incredible accomplishment considering our growth started just two months ago.

Want to know more? Just read below and all will be answered.

The only one I'm showing is the current one I'm working on, --- in queue #8.

ROFL. 90? LOL. Recall "Christmas Vacation" where the guy flips up the "nuclear boost", someone in your town just did that. hehe. I'll kick a few more in the coming week just for the hell of it.

I'm the randy quaid of the computer world...

I envision some Dumpers standing there by the storm drain saying "Shitter was full" and wondering why there's a glow coming from the sewage treatment plant :)

Dude, if you are randy, perhaps you and your spouse...

No, no, no Drango...That's NOT what he said. Now back to the joys of folding...

Just admiring the stats... looked at the radar for team #99, we're a threat to them in 151 days... DU, they're due to overtake in 1961 days...

and, to beat my own drum, guess who's #16 on the points per day, for all 450 gazillion folders... ? I'm shooting for #2 on the list, cuz I don't think that I can beat that anonymous dude, who's folding for team default...

saying "Shitter was full"

Probably Randy's most memorable line....

but then again, probably better that, than Ned Beatty's "eeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh"......

c'mon DU, squeal like a pig. "eeeewwwww" "eeeeewww"

The only thing I can't figure out...they got a young Burt Reynolds and they pick Ned Beatty.

Reminds me of that old joke where they send off the new guy to have his way with a sheep. He comes back, they're all laughing and he figures it's cuz he just buggered a sheep and they say "out of all those sheep, hahahaha, you picked the ugliest one"

hehe.

That's why, I'm usually acting the shy type, and always let someone else "go first".... :)

Just -service

I wonder if using the -local option will help... though it seems strange that the client.cfg file is getting wiped out or corrupted.

Perhaps one of the other folks that have been running F@H as a service will have other ideas; I might lean towards suggesting a therapeutic uninstall and reinstall to see if that clears things.

If you don't have the link handy or can't get on the net, the caluclator that comes with Windows will do hex, octal, binary conversions at the click of a radio button.

Wow newbie!...your 5 CPUs are decimating the field and you are climbing the charts like Kennedy trying to get a bottle from the top shelf.

I feel you breathin' down my neck and you will overtake me soon, but there is no much I can do about it. The wife unit won't let me mortgage the house to buy another folding rig. Fold on!

Uh-oh...did anyone notice the team we are projected to overtake in about 17 days? Currently # 215 on the charts and has a team number of 999? I can't print the name here 'cause them are all powerful and my keyboard will melt. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_overtake.php?s=&t=999

I've been teasing them.... still have about 600 or so lab computers that I can bring online, but I've been "pacing" myself, so to speak....

I'd say use SHOCK & AWE -- liberals don't like that at all :)
