Well, years ago, before I met my wife. . .in fact, before the widespread use of the Net. . . I met a woman on one of the RelayNet echoes (you'd read and post messages on a local BBS, then ~once a day, they'd connect to a "hub" system, get new messages and send messages posted there. . . sort of a primitive version of a modern-day newsserver. . .).

We corresponded for months, eventually moved to phone calls, and eventually got together for a few months time. We'd "known" each other for almost a year when we finally met face to face. . . and it was STILL several weeks before we finally slept together. . . . .
