Kitty Caption CXXV – Primary Madness – (Humor/Meow Alerts)
17 January 2006 | PetroniDE

Primary season is here. You know what that means: lots of political advertisements on radio and television. Any cats running for office? If dogs can vote, then cats can do better than that. These pictures are NOT paid political advertisements.

What cats go to get votes.

Viking Kitty Politician “Victory Dance”
Cortesy of Dallas59 (again)

One tough grandma (“Independent” candidate for TX governor)? Pass the meat tenderizer.

Screw this campaigning crap; plan world domination instead.

That's sweet.

Here's a different breed of kitty. I could spend hours Googling pictures of these cuties :)

Adorable!

I'd vote for "Grandma." That girl's got her stuff together. I can see she's won a lot of rounds in her time. Does she need a campaign manager?

My old crabby 16 year old male cat, Henry is driving me nuts. He always wants to eat.

I was sleeping the other night when he came up close to my ear and said, "you think I'm driving you nuts ........... with you, Bub, it's a putt."

I don't watch 24. No idea what you are talking about. The only shows I watch on network television are NFL/College football and college basketball.

I am bummed out over the Patriots loss on Saturday, but since the network was C"BS", still hoping for some "forged broadcast story" to leak and find out they actually won the game.

LOL.

You got ripped off on that interference call in the end zone. That crass call altered the entire game. You were actually the better team

Love the Zot dance! 'One tough grandma' is Carole (sp?) keaton Strayhorn running as an independent for governor here in Texas. Don't know anything about her. Except she sure sounds tough. Sam promises lizards for votes.

The five turnovers did more damage. At least the interference call was in the first half, so there was time to recover.

The NFL should change the penalty to 15 yards max, similar to the college rule. Spot of the foul is too harsh for such a judgement call.

"Conservative Republican" running as an independent. All the information I need to NOT vote for her.

I agree (mostly) completely with you on that................ but, think about the very few times when the defender falls down about 45-50 yards down the field, realizes he is beat for a TD, and decides to just grab the receiver, saving an 80 yard play. A 15 yard penalty there isn't quite enough, but in general, I agree with you.

These interference calls can be horrible, and it's often very much a judgment call by the ref.

Reply please, these interference calls have been bugging me for years.

I used to like it when the defender could bump the receiver down field a little further ....ala Mel Blount.

15 yards and an automatic 1st down would do. Part of the problem with those long bomb interference calls is usually the refs can't keep up (when was the last time you heard of a ref running a 4.4 40) so they're mostly guessing anyway. Yeah sure it means the offense will lose some yards when it's a legitimate call, but it also means the defense will gain some yards when it's a bogus call. And there's probably more bogus long bomb interference calls than legit anyway. And they need to ease up the rule too, part of the source of the bogus calls is that it takes so little contact to get the flag.
