The ***OFFICIAL*** Friday/Saturday Night Singles' Thread
Jan. 13 and 14th, 2006
Obligatory cute animal pic! (the kid is pretty cute too)
FRmail me if you want on or off the F/S Singles' Thread Ping List. It will only be used for pinging to the official thread, and will never be used for any other purpose.
This is a thread for singles, not a thread about the misery of singleness -- no moping allowed! :-)

No, I'm talking about someone who laughs at everything No problem there, the only people who laugh at everything have a much greater sense of humor than myself! Seriously, I understand what you say, all I can say, better to have one who laughs at everything than someone who laughs at nothing! Someone who laughs at everything is someone you can work with. I think I would keep at that, she may calm down after awhile. Probably just nervous. I suggest you give that some time.

Sorry got tied up in another project and left the computer.
Yes we do get an unusually high number of overcast days. I think I heard once where our portion of the state gets an average of 26 days of sunshine a year.
I believe it too :P

My "top 3" in a woman are:
1. I have to be able to trust her.
2. She has to be gentle-spirited.
3. When I see her, the first thing that goes through my mind isn't, "Well, looks aren't everything."

I love canoeing down a nice river. How do you feel about a recreational kayak?

It got to the point where I could put the phone down, go to the kitchen, come back and he wouldn't know I'd left. I had a friend who was like that. We weren't romantically involved, but she would talk forever. One night, I was really tired, but she decided that she wanted to talk. Eventually, I couldn't keep my eyes open, and I fell asleep with my head on the kitchen table and the phone in my hand. I awoke 30 minutes later, and she was still talking. I finally mumbled "Um .... Um" until she took a breath. I then mumbled that I needed to get some sleep. We both said "bye," and I hung up before she took off on another subject.

I hate it when you are sick and alone, no one around to hear you snivel. I'm the opposite. The only time I like being single is when I'm sick. If I feel badly, I don't want to be around anyone. A friend once offered to come nurse me when I was sick. I told her that if I must be miserable, I don't want to spread it.

Plus, I don't want anyone seeing me with my red eyes, drawn face or puffiness. ;-)

I tried eHarmony for a while, but I kept getting matched with Southern Baptist nurses and there is no way I'm getting baptized again to satisfy somebody's opinion that I wasn't properly dunked. Consider yourself lucky. I did the e-Harmony survey, and they told me that they couldn't match me.

I spent a long amount of time filling out that exhaustive profile, just to tell them that I was too "out of the ordinary" to be matched up with anyone. Same here

Plus, I don't want anyone seeing me with my red eyes, drawn face or puffiness. ;-) The sad thing is that I don't look that much worse when I'm sick than I do when I'm healthy. If appearance were the only issue when I'm sick, I wouldn't even call in sick at work.

I'm a girl. We don't like to be seen when we look sick. ;-)

I'll be coming home for good at the end of the year.
So I say now, anyway.
I may use to prerogative to change my mind, but I doubt it this time.

She is really pretty. You could at least have told us who she is. Night. I apologize for that,it probably embarrassed her to begin with.
