LOS ANGELES--Officials from Electronic Arts (EA) say they are baffled by the lackluster sales for their latest video game, Brokeback Mountain: The Cowboy Diaries. As of its release two weeks ago, the game has sold a paltry 3,000 copies, forcing EA to rethink its strategy for targeting the 18-35 male demographic. I dont get it. People love cowboys, right? This is the ultimate cowboy game, said Dan Mattrick, EA Sports vice-president. You can ride on the range, herd cattle, shoot peopleheck you might even fall in love with another cowboy. This is a deep, multi-layered game with endless possibilities. I guess Im out of touch with our target demographic. Now Im starting to second guess our latest video game project, How Stella Got Her Groove Back 2K7.

I'm betting this won't be added to the Freeper games list. It's part of the next generation of MMORPGs.

...which is why it was correctly posted in "chat" under "humor," and not in "news/current events."

HAHAHA!
I can't wait for the rest of the movie marketing scheme to kick in:
BrokeBack Mountain lunch boxes for the kids!
BrokeBack Mountain (forgive me!) poseable play figures with "kung-fu grip"!

This is pretty funny. However, for a good cowboy game, get the game "Gun".

Not everyone on FR posts in the correct section, nor does everyone on FR reconfirm which section the article is posted in before replying. Thus, a warning was necessary.

How about Brokeback Mountain drink cups from Burger King? Guess where you'd push the straw in..

It would be impossible to "accidently" stumble accross a chat article in the main forum. Trust me on that one. This is my ninth screen name for a reason.

Not really.

All sections' articles are listed indiscriminately. You also give too much credit to people who may not be particularly concerned with what section an article is posted in (as misposts and section changes are frequent.)
