If a driver comes in second, he's not "babying his car." What is the incentive to win and not just come in second? It certainly isn't points.

Money, pride, pleasing their sponsor, and, um, winning the race.

Money, pride, pleasing their sponsor, and, um, winning the race. Money? Hmmm I guess if its money you want you should baby your car, miss the chase and come in 11th...

The standings prove my point. Look at the corrolation between wins and earnings. You do, however, have to take into account new drivers vs. veterns. For example, JJ's 4 wins and relative earnings, compared to Carl Edwards 4 wins. Also keep in mind that Jeff Gordon won the Daytona 500. That brings with it a big chunk of change.

My niece sent me this 2 weeks ago and I sent it around the world three times. It was the most popular electronic card this year with 30 million sent. My sister retired from American Greetings, the host, two years ago.
But the funniest part was my Mac couldn't handle the file and crashed but I still had the audio and a spinning Beach Ball.
Happy Thanksgiving Mrs Callibash where ever you are...

Stupidest comment of the year award after Rickey Rudd stopped racing for a year:
"I haven't had a day off or a vacation day for 30 years". Yea right.

We are having our traditional Thanksgiving dinner at 5 tomorrow. Our two kids and their spouses and the two grandkids. No extra guests this year.
The turkey goes in the brine at 7 and out around 8 and into the oven about 1. The pumpkin and sour cream apple pies are done as is the cranberry sauce.
I wish we could have y'all over tomorrow but you will be here in Spirit...

We're having a Thaksgiving "lite" this year. Kids are going to their inlaws so we will split a 14# turkey.
Have plenty, if ya'll are this way, you are welcome.

Thank you, that is the kindest thought tubebender!! We are a small family here and I'm so very thankful to be able to call everyone friends.
BTW I love sour cream apple pie.
I just had a pumpkin cheesecake tart with cinnamon whipped cream and a few raspberries for garnish. I couldn't wait until tomorrow. :)
